"We stayed Moi Dambulla for 3 days. It was such a beautiful and peaceful stay. Its also really close to the Golden temple and can get to Sigirya easily. The staff members were excellent and went above and beyond. The place is very clean, I wasn’t keeping well on the day of checkout and the staff very kindly let us checkout late because of me. They also cooked us meals. Erande, the manager I believe and the staff were really great, we definitely recommend the stay. "

"The resort is set back from a busy road in a fabulous nature setting. Beware that 20 out of the 26 "rooms" are tents and only 6 are solid built cottages. If you want a glamping style close to nature experience then the tents are fabulous. If you want to have more privacy go for the cottages, which are very large and beautiful. Staff was extremely helpful. As we were few people breakfast and dinner options were limited but very tasty. Excellent option for a luxury stay in thw dambulla triangle."

"After all the hype of this property our expectations were not met. There appears to be a lack of attention to detail. Floor of our room was ‘grimy’ and had not been cleaned to the standard expected. Dirty bed linen and insufficient towels or water to cater for the number of booked guests. Breakfast was exceptional as were the breakfast staff. Wait staff in the pool deck were often hard to find. "Do not deal with this lodge. We originally booked 2 nights. Due to terrible circumstances in Sri Lanka, we couldn’t make it on the first night due to flooding and access to the lodge. The next day, the lodge told us again not to go there as it was still not clear and unsafe. Therefore, I requested a refund like the day before because it wasn’t our choice not to visit, but the lodge. Since this, there has been no reply to emails or refund requests to explain. Terrible. "
