The host was communicative and responded quickly to questions. The neighborhood was quiet. The fenced in back yard and outside deck/patio was nice as the weather was beautiful.

The host and I communicated several times before our arrival. The key was located in a spot different than what I was told. That aside the townhouse was nicely updated with new floors on the stairs and upstairs. The rain shower was remarkable especially after a day touring Macon. The bedrooms were large with the mattresses and pillows protected by zippered covers. The back yard was fenced and the back porch with ceiling fan was great for relaxing and playing card games with the children. The new refrigerator was really amazing. This is a very nice place to stay with an 18-minute easy commute to downtown. It has a welcoming feel to it.

The experience was not a pleasant one. First off we had a very late arrival and finding the key was difficult and sketchy since it was left unsecured. Upon entering the home it was set to AC in Dec and it was very cold. Once up stairs, both beds were used and left messed up like someone just left the house. Replacement sheets were available but no covers etc. The plastic over mattress was uncomfortable and the king size bed sagged in the middle causing us to roll into each other. The bathroom door did not close and floor sticky. It was nice to have dogs in a fenced yard. Owner was prompt in getting back to me , but did not compensate me enough for unpleasant stay.

We got in late and had trouble checking in. Thankfully, Chris responded just as we were about to give up. Despite my crabby attitude after a very long day of driving, he was apologetic and kind after waking him up in the middle of the night and we were able to get in. The place was nice and it was great to have a fenced in yard for the dogs.
