We wanted just a place to sleepover. We came to explorer Scotland.
Great that the place had a private parking.
Bed was squeaky.
Room was Not sound proof, could hear crying children from other rooms.
Very basic. Was okay for our short trip.

Over all we had a good stay for one night .We were on the top floor so three sets of stairs and no lift (listed building ) Room was cosy but not the cleanest, crumbs on the chair but the bathroom was clean and tidy .Breakfast was tasty but could have been hotter. It was during the fringe so very busy in the evening/at night, which can’t be helped. We probably wouldn’t stay there again, central but a bit noisy for us.
We’re not young anymore!😊

I did not realize I would be sharing a bathroom with 5 other rooms. My room had an outer wall that had tape holding wallpaper together. I realize I was in Edinburgh during tje fringe festival but it was too expensive for what I received. The one staff person I saw was very nice and helpful.
