"Although we were only there from 8pm to 8am, we loved our stay. Our Queen bed was extremely comfortable, and the room was huge. It even had a sofa. Before leaving we spent some quality time admiring the precious 19th century furnishings in the main floor rooms. This is not your run-of-the-mill bed & breakfast. Oh, yes of course; it is a GOVERNOR’S MANSION !"

"The property is very laid back and relaxed. Even though it is located in a country setting, it is still within the limits of the City of Miramichi, NB.The sleeping rooms have excellent housekeeping. The home is very quiet most times.This property is good value for the cost!"

"This property is well maintained. The location was lovely, right beside the River with a nice covered porch to enjoy the view. Comfortable beds and quality linens. Well equipped kitchen. The only negative is that the civic number is hard to see, so finding it was a bit of a challenge."

"It's a beautiful property and every aspect is so well thought out. We loved the kitchen was fully stocked with any equipment you need (Keurig and Nutribullet included), as well as the directions where to buy eggs from the local farmer. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat :)"
