Good base for a short stay

Used the hotel for a 3 night base for the Spa Francorchamps 24 hour race. Hotel was quiet, clean and the staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. No food except breakfast but there was a great Chinese restaurant opposite and other places to eat within walking distance.

Paar nadelen.

Helaas kon de verwarming NIET uit en of kouder afgesteld worden op de zolder kamer boven.. Het was er zeer warm en daarom 's nachts maar de ramen opengedaan. Wij willen altijd fris slapen. Het nadeel was, dat wij nu de rook van de openhaard van beneden roken. Maar goed verder alles prima en gezellig, met een prima ontbijt. De volgende keer maar een kamer aan de voorkant vragen, etc.

vriendelijke ontvangst, gemoedelijke sfeer. kamer was op een klein puntje van de verlichting na, prima in orde. Erg ruime kamer!

Erg tevreden

Hotel is een gebouw van begin 1800, waarin de sporen van die tijd in veel details zijn behouden en daardoor veel onderhoud vergt!Erg vriendelijke uitbaters! We hebben goed geslapen! Hotel is een prima uitvalsbasis om met de trein (op 100 meter) bijv. naar Maastricht of België te gaan!

Eigenlijk meer bruin café dat ook kamers verhuurd, die overigens modern degelijk zijn ingericht. Nadeel, wel erg laag bed (kamer17) en er is geen lift. Ontbijt apart betalen.

Prettig verblijf in Eijsden tijdens de bloesemperiode. Mooie fiets en wandelroutes.

Good points : Close to Rail station.Easy to get to maastricht or towards Brussels to catch eurostar. Bad points: Not much eating place near by.There is a LIDL 20 min walking distance.
