"We had a late family check in after midnight. Upon arrival the tv didn’t work. We called it in, front desk didn’t seem too accommodating. Repeating rudely that maintenance was gone , didn’t suggest another room or a discount. When requesting another room she responded “if that’s what you want, is that what you want?” We did get another room and that room seemed as if the heat was broken we had set it at 70, then 73 when it wasn’t warming and after awhile we just turned it off because it was cold air that kept pushing out. Usually that’s where we set it at other hotels, maybe it needed to be at 75 or higher for warm air to come out. Bedding was light. A sheet and a thin cotton(?) puffed quilt. "

"Sheets were terrible, room smelled, heater gave off an odor. No one was at the front desk when we arrived and my family, tired from long travel, had to wait a while to check in."

"Person who checked us on gave us one of the worst rooms (because we booked through Expedia?). Room was furthest from the elevator and extremely noisy. Lady who checked us out was terrific. Parking was good - self parking. "

"Our stay at this hotel was from Friday, Mar 20 to Sunday, Mar 22---two overnights. We would have rated the hotel higher except for an incident causing considerable inconvenience. Upon arrival late Friday afternoon we noticed two signs, one was a folding sign, the other was permanently affixed near the elevator door, announcing Saturday Brunch between 9am and 2pm in the Rooftop Grill. Considering this, we invited in-town guests to join us for breakfast the next morning, Saturday. We met them all in the lobby at 10am. We attempted to take the elevator to the top floor, it didn't go. One of our guests noticed another elevator around the corner where the folding sign was located. We all entered that elevator and took it to the top floor. On exiting, there was no one in sight---no buffet, no hotel guests, no staff, nobody/nothing. We took the elevator down to the lobby and I spoke with the front desk clerk. She seemed surprised about there every being a brunch, then casually mentioned it must have been for a private party. When I explained sign was permanently affixed near the elevator wall, she apologized and said there was no brunch. By this time we were all quite hungry and left for brunch elsewhere. This was a VERY disappointing experience. Our day was delayed and guests were out parking fees. Everyone in our party was inconvenienced by the misinformation. "

"What a great unique hotel. Staff was fantastic and room was spotless. Only issue was the lounge/bar was closed on the only day we were there. We will definitely be back. "
