Countryside Cabin on 40 Private Acres Along Johnson Creek

This secluded cabin is centrally located between Rochester, Buffalo and Niagara Falls, just two miles South of Lake Ontario, along Johnson Creek. The perfect base location while exploring several nearby State Parks, The Erie Canal, Historic Medina and more.

Private and peaceful, you'll find yourself nestled in the middle of a 40 acre oasis. Perfect for a friends get away, weekend retreat or family vacation. Immerse yourself in the tranquil views from the front or back porches, overlooking a pond, wooded areas and rolling farmland.

There are two fire pits, a pavilion and maintained hiking trails, as well as abundant wildlife (including regular bald eagle spottings). This cabin is well maintained, quiet and peaceful. The basketball court and large mowed areas are great for youngsters burning off energy and enjoying the great outdoors. Rolling hills make for exciting winter snow sledding, and trails are perfect for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. Fun and adventure awaits no matter the season!

There are kayaks, life jackets, fishing poles, frog nets, snow sleds and more for your use at the pond or creek.

The pavilion is available for picnics during your stay, or for an additional fee it can be used for graduation parties, family reunions, showers or even an intimate wedding.

The owners live nearby and are readily available if any need arises during your stay, however will give you the privacy you desire.

Private getaway
Third time stay at this location and booked my fourth while i was there couldn't be happier with location and setting. Host checked in with us before we arrived and was available when we called with questions. We frequent this area a few times a year and couldn't ask for a better stay its truly a home away from home.

Great Stay-Great Fishing
This was our third stay at this cabin on the Johnson. The new steps up to the loft are a vast improvement over the old ladder. Quality and cleanliness continue to be of the highest standard. The kitchen is well stocked and overall the cabin is very comfortable, including the beds. And then there is the fishing...we had a really spectacular number of salmon and brown trout in the waters. You can never time it right every year, but this year we hit it just right. The result was lots of fish caught by all five of us. We definitely be back next fall.

Family Reunion Trip
Another fantastic stay at Katie’s cabin. This was our 2nd stay. The cabin is clean and comfortable. The beds provide restful sleep, and the kitchen is well stocked. The property is incredible. The well maintained hiking trails make it so easy to get around the property and to Johnson Creek for great fishing. One of my favorite spots is the back porch swing. The cabin sits on top of a rise and you can view the property and the pond from the swing. Communication with Katie was excellent. We were delighted when she brought us a replacement light bulb and shared a few moments with us. Since we have family who live in this area, we look forward to staying here again.

Amazing Cabin and Host
Wow! Our trip could not have been better. This cabin was amazing and met/exceeded our expectations. We had children that kept busy outdoors exploring, fisihing, kayaking, bon fires, etc...and had a great time. I walked the well kept trails every day. This cabin had EVERYTHING we needed. I packed "just in case" items i never used. Our host Katie was just as amazing and responded to our inquiries immediately. Thank you Katie for sharing your beautiful cabin with strangers. Our family is grateful and we pray to come back often.

Upstate trip
We stayed at the cabin in the winter and it was perfect. 40 private acres is amazing. The cabin was perfect for our family. The pond, trails, creek and hills were all great and provided us with plenty to do right on property. We finally got some snow so we could try out the sleds on the hills and had so much fun. The owner was easy to contact and set up an additional day so we could enjoy the snow.
