This was a fine and inexpensive property to use while visiting downtown Lynchburg. The hotel is quite dated, and some of it appears to be closed or undergoing construction. Nevertheless, the price point and the location are selling points, and I would certainly stay there again for quick visits to Lynchburg.

Staff was excellent but the property has had no investment improvements for some time. The room was huge but mediocre. I doubt I would ever stay there again.

Lynchburg Grand was a decent place to stay for a night. I know they are doing some renovations, so there was no continental breakfast. Most of the ice machines were out of order. We didnt need ice but im sure some did and there was only 2 floors the machines worked. The staff were all very nice and our room was very clean. We would stay here again if its only for a night or two.
This was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was really clean and we heard NOTHING!! No one yelling down the halls, no doors slamming nor heard any noise from outside. I’ll definitely use them again.
PROS: Quiet, friendly staff, walkable location, safe, ice machine, good water pressure
CONS: in need of maintenance & updating. We couldn’t get in to the room we were first assigned due to the card reader not working properly. The room we were moved to had a phone that did not work & possible mold growing on the bathroom ceiling. There were no vending machines

I thought the staff was very kind, helpful and professional. However, the rooms were honestly filthy. When I turned the hearer on, a gross smell like rotten food would fill the room. Everything is verrrry run down, old. Layer of dirt on everything. It just feels like the rooms definirely don't get more than maybe the bedding changed between guests. I wouldn't stay here again

The staff was lovely and helped with an issue getting in my room. The room however had several issues: the handle on the shower to adjust the water temperature was broken and you had to manually search for the hot water by moving the handle around until eventually you landed in the right spot; the tub drain stopper was broken and hanging into the tub and had rusted to the bottom of the tub; and there was a huge stain on one side of the comforter that resembled blood. I’m not sure if the comforter had even been washed.

Room was clean but old. Property is under renovation which is not mentioned online. Also no breakfast, only coffee. Needs a good up to date Reno on rooms. Also keurig coffee maker in room only brews half a cup of coffee so I wouldn’t waste my time using it. The fridge did come in handy for outside drinks tho.
Thank you to the staff which were all very polite and friendly!
Shower had wash towel on shower curtain. Hair in shower. Room not vacuumed

Vomit on rug dried chunks on rug by desk. Dog food on closet floor. Clogged sink would not drain. No coffee cups in room. Just lids 😵💫. But still nice
The hotel is very worn down and not very clean. It’s an older property but obvious they have allowed it to age poorly instead of trying to maintain it. The beds were uncomfortable and the walls and doors are incredibly thin. You can hear everything there’s no privacy. The only positive was the young guy working the front desk that checked us out, he was warm and friendly.
There was no breakfast available. The rooms are not cleaned every day. The property is still nice but dated. My room was not available and they moved me to another room. I kind of felt like a second class citizen because I booked through a “third party” instead of the hotel. Not sure if I would return because of that.
