A Little Quirk of This Historic Cottage

Little Heron is a charming, centuries-old property full of original character and quirks. As the cottage sits at the bottom of a hill, one of its lower-ground-floor rooms has an unusual feature!

During periods of heavy or prolonged rainfall, some water may naturally seep through the original stone wall from the road above. This is a characteristic of the property’s age and position, and something we like to make guests aware of in advance.

Towels are provided to help manage any water ingress should this occur during your stay.

It’s all part of the character of this historic building, although we appreciate it may not be quite the quirky feature everyone expects!
