We loved the rustic feel of the cabin and the fact that it fit all 14 of us. The views of the nature surrounding the cabin were amazing and so relaxing. The cabin had everything we could have needed. We especially enjoyed using the hot tub and the fire pit. The house is very well designed and detailed, the furniture and beds feel fresh and comfortable, and the spaces feel at once cozy and spatious. Everything is impeccable and pristine, but feels like a home. The house is located in a private development overlooking a rippling pond and a vista of trees and blue mountains in the distance. It is a very private location, but within 10 - 15 minutes of a wonderful little town with shopping and amenities, not to mention the famous Lurray Caverns and Skyline Drive. Most importantly for us on a relaxing trip in late December/Jan, taking in the mountains and vistas from the large hot tub felt truly restorative. Morning views of the lake, afternoon naps on the swing, and bonfires at night were highlights of every day. Stores being close by was definitely a plus. The pictures do not do this cabin justice at all. The downside was very unreliable and slow internet that needed resetting many times a day. The slowness is understandable given it is a remote area but reliability could be fixed with better equipment.
