There were a lot of tour groups staying in the hotel; there were not enough seats in the cafeteria for breakfast as all the tour groups had breakfast at the same time. The hotel is very new, with good sized, comfortable rooms and a pretty good breakfast offering. Luoyang is pretty big, so not much was within walking distance (except for lovely Wangcheng Park over the road). However, the hotel reception were very helpful in organising taxis to the grottoes and Longmen station. The bar was also very welcome after a long hot day too! When we eventually moved to a non-smoking floor, guests still smoked on that floor and the no smoking policy was clearly not enforced. The carpet in the 1st room was wet and the safe was also not working. Although we indicated that there would be 4 guests - 2 adults and 2 children, the sofa bed in both rooms was not adequate to accommodate the 2 children.
