"Quite Excellent. from book in by Karen at reception who upgraded us - to the gym and pool staff (notably Caelan), to the restaurant staff, Joe, Cara and Eloise who provided an excellent service from the dining room - carvery and take away meals. The reception staff were always helpful (Debbie). We had a truly wonderful experience in a large and clean lodge. Minutes walk from the beach. Plenty of activities on site for both adults and children. equipment for these activities on hand and respected by clients at the resort. A really super weekend break I'd have stayed for much longer given the chance. "

"Booked very last minute for a few days in Brambly Hedge. From start to finish we loved every minute. Zoe was a fantastic host with great communication from start to finish and even made the effort to come and say hello to make sure all was ok. Brambly Hedge is very cute and inside is very well decorated with a real lodge feel…inside you wouldn’t know it’s a static caravan!! Incredibly well stocked kitchen inside with the added bonus of tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil, washing up liquid, biscuits…the list goes on….and a lovely touch of an Easter egg upon our arrival. The campsite it small and quiet…perfect…and the pubs in the village are only 5 mins walk, as is the chippy!! Great location for many different coastal walks, as well as Clovelly being 5 mins away and being just off the A39 to get to Cornwall or North Devon. All in all loved it at Brambly Hedge and would definitely book again👍 Thank you."

"Greatly enjoyed my stay The Corn Store. The apartment was spotless and every small detail had been thought of; it was incredibly cosy and comfortable. The beautiful views and log fire were such a treat. Riki was amazing and had provided so much detailed information on the area. I essentially worked my way through a list of her recommendations and had great fun exploring nearby towns and coastal walks. The Corn Store was also the perfect place for a solo getaway, to get some peace and quiet to relax, and to get some writing done. I would highly recommend and will visit again!"

"The location of this chalet is lovely and the camp is nice and quiet. The view from the balcony is nothing short of stunning. The Chalet is well equipped with pretty much everything you need and a nice starter pack with tea and coffee making supplies - the owner has gone above and beyond to ensure nothing is needed. The decor is a bit of a miss mash of styes - eclectic - but if you're not worried about the style then no problem. Unfortunately the chalet is damp. Very damp. To the point that clothes we didn't wear had to be washed when we got home to get rid of the smell. The water in the shower drain seems to be backed up, which doesn't help, and when you open and close the sliding door, you can actually hear water sloshing about in it. The owner has provided a de-humidifier, but despite running this a couple of times, the water tank doesn't fill up so I'm guessing it doesn't work properly. This is such a shame as the location is so nice. Fortunately, we had great weather while we were there so made sure kept it well aired but I imagine it would be a nightmare during a wet week. We soldiered on and enjoyed our holidays, but potential renters should be made aware of this issue."
