"The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was a HUGE plus for us. Being "strangers in a strange land", we can't emphasize enough how important this aspect was...to have friendly and helpful caretakers of the hotel. The only negative, if I could even call it this, was the small size of the room (which we knew about ahead of time) and the quality of the mattresses slept on."

"We spotted the village from the road above, fishing village down a steep road, cobblestones and cottages. Gorgeous 300 year old pub on the harbour, great atmosphere, comfy bed and room, breakfast the next day was fresh and plentiful and offered with love and care. Really enjoyed it, 20 steos from the harbour so pretty to walk around."

"This place is a hidden gem! I have been staying at budget accommodations, trying to keep it around $100 CAD per night, including breakfast. With that in mind, this place is an incredible value. The building has character and is a bit quirky. The room was very spacious, and the bathroom was renovated. The grounds are beautiful, and it is very close to Lunan Beach. The Scottish breakfast was outstanding and very filling. The people who work here are incredibly friendly and helpful. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed!"
