Location was perfect - close to shops and grocery stores (to help cut the cost of very expensive dining out in Switzerland). Short walk to Interlaken West train station. Easy bus access. Breakfast was included and was VERY good - lots of variety and delicious! Beds/pillows were very comfortable. The hotel is older, and room was pretty basic - no bedside lamps (NOT a game changer), and no A/C, which we discovered is common in Switzerland. Temperatures were warm (high twenty's) during our stay, but we were given 2 floor fans which really helped to keep things comfortable. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend.

We travel a lot but we have never seen such a nice staff anywhere. Shayan is a sweetheart and extremely nice and helpful. My son was sick and one of staff went out of her way to make kitchen make a soup for him. You don’t see these kind of stuff often. Thank you to all the staff.!

The location was great right in front of the park where the paragliders land and with a view of the snow capped mountains. Fifteen minutes walk from both interlaken east and west stations. Halal food places nearby.
Inside the hotel looked nice and clean though the rooms were very basic. The front of the building however looked awful...really run down and I was shocked when I saw it. The photos on the listing only show the building at night in the dark with lights on so you can't really tell. It's a shame because it really lets the hotel down.
Also the breakfast buffet had very limited options considering it wasn't a cheap hotel. I was quite disappointed because I had expected more.

"Amazing hotel and staff!!!! Spent 4 nights at the gem of a hotel and cannot recommend it more. The staff was unbelievable- from the front desk, servers, housekeeping staff - all were exceptional. The rooms are beautiful and the lake views and Alps are simply breathtaking. Could not ask for more!!! ..."
