It was a very comfortable stay, and we would definitely stay again and recommend the property to others. Excellent mattresses and quality furniture and fittings. The only real downfall was the the quality of the deeper cleaning (of the walls/doors/shower tiles/oven etc) and the pillows (which were absent of pillow protectors, smelly/heavily stained and most definitely all need replacing). The musty (body odour) smell from the pillows had infiltrated all of the bedding in each of the bedrooms, and we needed to wash and sanitise the sheets/quilts to remove the overpowering body odour smell. We purchased some of our own pillows in Ingham to use for our stay in lieu of the ones provided. The property could do with a full spring clean, but I imagine this is quite difficult to do regularly with the frequency of Winter bookings and some patrons being particularly careless with the way in which they treat the property. With a bit more elbow grease and regular, rigorous deep cleaning this property could really shine (we gave deeper cleaning a bit of a good go whilst we were there using the well-stocked cleaners provided, just to make our stay a bit more like home!)
