The whole property is incredible and the accommodation is nothing short of a tranquil, serene, immaculate and stunning secluded getaway. We hadn't even stepped inside the accommodation and our five year old daughter and 2 year old son had raced to the playground where they often were during our 3 night stay. The fact that the accommodation was fenced gave us so much peace of mind to let them wander in the yard. Luke and Kez were so friendly and we all enjoyed the morning animal feeds and learning about the various animals they have. My daughter loved feeding the kangaroo Joey's! The dam was a little patch of paradise with an abundance of activities. We all enjoyed jumping in the little row boat and going for a paddle and seeing the cows come down to the waters edge on the other side. Had it been warmer we would of all been going for a swim and using the canoes. We never left the property during our stay as the peace and quiet was utter bliss. The kids could run around on the grass or play equipment outside or a quieter indoor activity. Very spacious inside, clean, tidy, modern, organised and beautifully decorated (and the beds were outrageously comfortable). The condition of this cabin is outstanding and felt bigger than the pictures do it justice we found. All kitchen gadgets (incl. SMEG oven and gas hob, microwave and four slotted toaster), cooking gear and utensils are in mint condition too as well as the washing machine and dryer! The indoor fireplace, outdoor BBQ and fire pit making winter nights under the stars super cozy and the owners even provided a small amount of firewood for us to use, very kind :) It was simply great to meet Luke and Kes every morning (optional) to feed their cute farm animals and to have a good chat about their life in the country and any recommendations they might have for our short trip to the Wellington State Forest. Also their property is huge with lush, grassy-green hillside paddocks (now in winter time) where sheep run free. There are water holes for swimming and boats to use (that we didn't take advantage of, as winter is too cold). Birdsong every morning and crickets during the evening making sure you will be able to forget about hectic city life for a while :) On arrival we have received a small basket full of breakfast goodies, fruits and local eggs for our consumption, a small carton of milk in the fridge, as well as some coffee capsules and tea bags inside of containers on the rustic jarrah countertop.
