Villa Valentina is the last house in the development, so there are no passing cars, and it is tastefully decorated to offer everything you need for a relaxed, comfortable family stay. Step inside to five welcoming bedrooms and six bathrooms, with space for up to 14 guests across 10 beds plus a sofa bed. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a super‑king bed and a private bathroom with bath and shower, and a second bedroom with two single beds and a private bathroom with bath and shower, both with air conditioning. Upstairs, you will find a super‑king bedroom with TV and private bathroom with bath and shower column, plus a king‑size bedroom with private bathroom with bath and shower, also air‑conditioned. On the lower floor, a bedroom with four single beds and a private shower room is perfect for children or friends, while a cosy space between the upstairs bedrooms offers a sofa bed for two extra guests, and there is an additional guest WC on the ground floor. The kitchen is practical and fully fitted, with a central island, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and all the indispensable accessories for easy holiday cooking, and it has direct access to the BBQ area. The bright living room benefits from large windows opening onto the garden and pool, and a fireplace helps create a more cosy atmosphere on cooler winter days. In the basement, the house turns into a leisure zone, with a pool table, table tennis and a football table, plus Wi‑Fi broadband and TV with English channels such as BBC and ITV. An integrated sound system runs throughout the house and can be controlled in each room to play local radio, and central air conditioning serves the whole villa except the generally cooler basement. Outside, an artificial waterfall runs directly into the pool, adding the relaxing sights and sounds of running water. The swimming pool is about 9 4.5 metres, with depths from roughly 0.75 m at the steps to 1.6 m at the deep end, and includes an additional Jacuzzi for four or more people; pool heating is available from April to October at extra cost, with at least 48 hours’ notice and subject to suitable temperatures. Around the pool, there are 10 sun loungers and a shaded pergola with a large outdoor dining table and chairs for 12, plus a charcoal BBQ and a set of outdoor sofas, chairs and a table, creating a perfect setting for long al fresco meals and relaxed evenings. There is secure parking for three or more cars inside the property, giving extra peace of mind. Guests also have free use of the nearby urbanisation tennis court, adding another option for fun and exercise during your stay. Quinta do mar is walking distance from the boardwalk and some of the best restaurants in the area. The villa was a great size with plenty of space and all amenities you could require. The only issue is that it is starting to show its age. Broken shower in the master, pool waterfall wasn't working and some of the furniture was a little tired. However, i do believe much of this is priced in as more modern villas in the same location would be substantially more expensive. So overall we had a lovely stay in a good villa but in the perfect location for a reasonable price. ##### Mark S. Plenty of sun beds and a very clean and refreshing pool meant we spent much of our time at the villa but beach only a 15/20 minute walk away if you fancy a change of scene. Would we come back - absolutely! Overall this is a nice property, but there are a few observations for renters as well as the property management company. Seashell Property Management were easy to deal with and attentive. The villa is really spacious and can accommodate mixed families and children. The kitchen is reasonably well appointed, but could do with a review and upgrade of some of the cutlery, crockery, pans etc. to manage for a potential party of 10\. The location is quiet and whilst the beach is around a 15-20 minute hilly walk away, it may not suit those who are looking for short stroll options as there aren’t too many. A car is therefore a must and the villa is well positioned to access VDL and QDL.. I think that this property could be elevated to a different quality level with a bit of TLC, external furniture, pool area, pergola. Mais papel higiênico e material de limpeza, informar melhor sobre os itens que estarão na localidade como marca da máquina de café, que a churrasqueira é a gás, que é recomendado repelente e inseticida devido as vespas e moscas que foram muitas que apareceram, sugiro procurar que deve ter algum foco na casa ao lado. De qualquer forma, sugiro melhorarem a limpeza nos detalhes (interior do forno, armários, etc.) O serviço de apoio da Sra Tânia, Sra Albertina, etc é excelente! Obrigada! Plenty of sun beds and a very clean and refreshing pool meant we spent much of our time at the villa but beach only a 15/20 minute walk away if you fancy a change of scene. Villa looking a little bit tired in some areas, for example the door that covers the integrated fridge had come off and was just left in the dining room,, the handrail on the steps up to the villa from the drive was rather wobbly etc, but these were minor, we ere there end of season and it did not impact on our enjoyment. Fantastic outdoor area - we spent most of our time there and there wasn’t much need to leave!
