It was the perfect location for a diverse group of people. The location was perfect for bourbon trail exploring. Our driver picked us up at the house on travel days and several Louisville distilleries were close by to venture out on our own. The location is also convenient to restaurants and bars. We enjoyed hanging out in the back yard each night. ##### Angela B. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable! We absolutely loved the location, walkable to so many places and also short uber rides/drives to other attractions! We did have an almost 2 year old with us and overall it was manageable (the stairs were challenging) but the yard and play set were perfect! The downstairs kitchen didn’t have a microwave, and it had very limited utensils and serving wear overall, which was inconvenient! The upstairs kitchen had a microwave and more kitchen utensils. It's an upscale neighborhood with old mansions. Located just far enough off Bardstown Road, so you don't hear the traffic, it is very walkable to great restaurants, bars, and boutique shopping. We loved the two kitchens, and the huge dining room. The neighborhood is safe and boasts stunning architecture. It's within walking distance to numerous shops, restaurants, and nightlife spots. The house is beautifully decorated and much more spacious than we anticipated. It was exceptionally clean and equipped with all the amenities we could have asked for. It's been renovated exceptionally well and is perfect for any number of uses. Weekend Getaway, Shopping, Dining, Drinking Even better than the pictures! This location is outstanding, nestled in a historic district. The house boasts ample off-street parking, shines with cleanliness, and exudes charm and coziness while offering generous space. It's within walking distance to boutique shops, numerous dining, and cocktail venues. Having stayed in the Highlands previously, we greatly favor this side of the Highlands for its safety. The location was ideal to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. Noche, just a couple blocks south on Bardstown Road was our favorite! We enjoyed the fire pit each night and loved the second floor kitchen and bourbon tasting room. Plenty of parking, safe neighborhood, kind neighbors and no issues being a bit noisy in the evening. Amazing Location, fabulous home! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by how big and charming this place was. Two kitchens, and a massive dining table that fit all of us perfectly for meals and card games. The game room was a huge hit. The outdoor fire pit and back yard were used every single day. The kitchens had everything we needed, and the fenced yard was very private and made all the girls comfortable. I could keep going on about how much we loved this place and the area. The decor is even better in person than in the pictures! My friends and I had a long weekend and stayed here. We absolutely loved this place! There are two kitchens if you get the whole house and each of the rooms were well decorated. The entire house was also very clean! We were able to use the backyard also and it was so nice having multiple parking spots. We were about 15 min from all of our activities and walking around the neighborhood was absolutely beautiful! There are parks nearby that a couple of the ladies went running around. Communication from the host was excellent. The place felt like a cozy home away from home, and it was spotlessly clean. We loved having all the kitchen essentials at our fingertips, which made whipping up meals a cinch. The best surprise was the backyard with its awesome fire pit – we loved spending evenings by the fire. And let's talk about location! We could stroll to all those cool shops, restaurants, and bars nearby was a major win. We had a blast exploring the local scene without having to worry about parking or calling a cab. Super friendly and always ready to help with anything we needed. Our group of 12 stayed at his gorgeous house and honestly, leaving was tough. The area is so charming and peaceful. Loved how it's just the right distance from Bardstown Rd - close enough to easily stroll to shops, eateries, and bars, but far enough to skip the noise. The house having two kitchens was a total win for us. It was great to have the option to either keep things private or open up the space for everyone to mingle. Inside we loved the decor and how clean it was. And the backyard? Absolutely lovely. We had the best time making fires in the smokeless fire pit and soaking up that sweet Louisville summer weather. Plus, Safai coffee being just a few steps from the backyard was a major perk. Oh, and let's not forget the dedicated parking in the back - so convenient. The two kitchens made meal prep effortless, and the unexpected hot tub was a wonderful bonus. The neighborhood, with its historic homes, is peaceful, safe, and beautiful. We actually walked to one of our dinner reservations that she booked. Everything is so close in the city, so this was the perfect location. It fit 4 families total very comfortably and the yard was perfection for our little kids. They enjoyed the hot tub daily, as well! Tony was so nice and communicated very well with us.
