"This Vrbo was a perfect stay for our family while visiting Virginia. The cabin is about 2 miles from ruckersville but is in a perfectly quiet area. Our only critic was in order to get to the second bedroom you have to walk through the bathroom with the shower. This was not a large hindrance for our family. Very pleasant owners. Thank you for your hospitality!"

The basement floor is concrete and if you do not wear shoes inside might want to bring something to wear cause it can be cold. "The property is beautiful, peaceful, and private, but you can get to a shopping area that has everything in about 15 minutes, so the best of both worlds. We were able to explore the area and then come back to such a relaxing place. Also, I was working remotely for part of the time and had no problems with the internet, even in zoom meetings. The house had so much light with floor to ceiling windows. The hosts were great. I highly recommend it!"

"We had a family wedding in Mineral and wanted to stay close by. Heron’s Cove was the perfect house to accommodate our eight family members ranging from 8months to 81 years. There was plenty of room for all of us to hang out together both inside and out. Kathy was also very helpful in allowing us to check in early so we could make the Rehearsal dinner in Charlottesville on time. We all had a wonderful time and would definitely go back."

"We really liked the house, the lake, the area. However, we did encounter an ant problem at the house and the homeowner is aware and trying to fix it. Not fire ants, just annoying sugar ants. We ended up having to hide our food in the microwave and fridge, couldn't leave anything out on the counters, they find their way into any container it seemed."

The blankets and towels Some of the toilets looked visibly dirty inside, the floors and rug on main level were pretty dirty, but not terribly.
