"Lovely hotel in a great location. Beautiful views of Discovery Passage from the front rooms. Rooms were huge, more than enough space for a family of 3. Pool was great. Staff were very friendly. Only slight criticism was the random per night charge for the child’s bed which we assumed would be included given we booked for the family but that was resolved swiftly. Ample parking. Probably a little far to be considered walking distance in to Campbell River but still a great location. "
"Beautiful property in a fab location just a few minutes drive south of Campbell River. The house itself was very cosy and the beds were very comfortable. Everything was finished to a luxury, five star standard. The fire table out the front was the perfect place to sit at sunset, watching all the bald eagles. All communication from hosts was quick and helpful. Fantastic experience all round. :)Great places to visit are Elk Falls, Oyster River Upper Potholes (be cautious of times that logging roads are open, and make sure you're in a 4x4!), McIvor Lake Park, Buttle Lake Trail at Strathcona.
