Los Olivos Viewpoint

Location & Property The hotel is conveniently located if you are visiting Tenorio Volcano and Río Celeste, although it is not right next to the main road. You have to drive about 10 minutes from the main road to reach the property. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, so if you don't plan to have dinner at the hotel, you'll need to drive back to the main road to find somewhere to eat. The property consists of several houses surrounded by gardens and jungle, creating a very peaceful and natural setting. Room Our room was spacious and bright, located in one of the buildings on the property. It was very basic, with a couple of beds, a bathroom, and not much else. It was clean, although the beds were not particularly comfortable. There was no TV or fridge, but the room did have air conditioning. The bathroom was also clean and functional, with a shower and basic toiletries. Breakfast Breakfast was served in a small restaurant and was OK, with a selection of both hot and cold options. Facilities & Surroundings The best part of our stay was the beautiful natural surroundings. We were completely surrounded by gardens and jungle, in very quiet and peaceful surroundings. You could hear and see nature everywhere. There was also a nice outdoor pool, which my kid and I enjoyed. It even had a swim-up bar, although unfortunately it wasn't open during our stay. There is plenty of parking space. Overall In short, this is an OK place to stay between stops on your Tico trip.
