"The house is simply amazing right on a gorgeous, isolated beach. Although the road getting there might not be for everyone, it was fun for us, a true old school Baja experience. Communication around all the questions we had beforehand was great. The caretakers Elvira and Fernando are lovely and super helpful. The bedrooms are perfect and we all especially loved the extra outside showers that each room has. We spent our days swimming, snorkeling, playing games, eating and napping and this house is very conducive to this. We went into Cabo Pulmo a couple of nights for great dinners, which was also fun and part of the experience. Los Frailes is a very special place and so is this house. We will totally come back!"

"We had an incredible stay at this VRBO, it truly exceeded every expectation we had. Traveling with three generations, from age 10 to 78, it can be hard to find a place that works for everyone, but this property absolutely delivered.The home itself has everything you could possibly need. It’s so well thought out and equipped that you hardly need to reach out for anything. That said, Greg, Gina, and Ramon were fantastic, responsive, welcoming, and genuinely helpful when needed.The location is hard to beat. Being so close to the water made a huge difference, and the ocean was calm and swimmable for all ages, which gave everyone the chance to enjoy it safely. The pool and bar area were a highlight of the trip, we spent so much time there together, relaxing, laughing, and just enjoying being with family.One of the things we appreciated most was the balance of sun and shade throughout the day. Whether you wanted to lounge in the sun or cool off in the shade, there was always a comfortable spot. Everything was spotless and clearly very well maintained.We rented an ATV to get around, and honestly, that was all we needed for the entire stay. There’s a full grocery store about 20 minutes away for larger trips, and smaller local shops about 5 minutes away that are perfect for quick restocks.This place is something special. If you’re looking for a property that brings people together, makes things easy, and delivers an unforgettable experience, this is it."

"All in all, amazing place! Easy to find, spacious, and comfortable. No ac but plenty of fans. Being on the top of hill gives a perfect breeze. If you need internet after 11pm you need to let the host know ahead of time. Usually it wouldn't be an issue for us, we just found out in the middle of a streaming movie. Beautiful scenery and all the typical wildlife you find in the desert. The sunrise and song birds are stunning from any of the multiple balconies.Highly recommend! Would stay there again 100%"

"The hotel doesn’t look like the pictures at all. Looks like the owner has neglected the maintenance of the property, everything is falling apart. The furniture is cheap, odd and tacky. The lock of hour room was basically broken and unsafe. In general, the vibe is eery. Food was horrible and extremely expensive. We preferred to loose our money and don’t stay the second night. I’m not sure if the previous reviews are the owner’s friends & family as it is definitely not true. As a Mexican, I’ve never experience something like this in my country. "

"I had to request for my room to be serviced 2 separate days. First day I waited until 5 PM to call for service and second day I requested morning service and it wasn’t completed until 2 PM"

"Ohh my gosh!! This was amazing. This is a small hotel. We had access to a pool the beach, the dining room is 6 tables. The drinks were amazing, especially the margaritas!! They were out of chocolate brownie so the next night our waiter asked the chef to make a Chocolate cake for me!! I really had no words for how private and taken care of we felt. I would 100% stay here again!!"
