The hotel was in good location, parking at the hotel was easy. Staff were very good at check in. The hotel is very outdated but shower was great and room was spotless. It did exactly what we needed for 1 night in beautiful Dénia.
We got back to the hotel around 11pm. It was full on party and noisy but didn’t affect us and we could t hear anything from our room.

The hotels definitely lives up to its pictures, walking around the grounds is breathtaking and the layout of reception inviting. Unfortunately the beautiful hotel missed some ambience. Lacking in music. Breakfast we decided to sample did not disappoint our taste buds, an amazing continental buffet style, with an additional option of ordering an array of eggs pancakes etc.. This was of great quality and alot of choice.
The downsides to our stay was staff, a couple tainted the rest of the bunch. At night there was a friendly helpful bar person. But during the day not a smile to be seen and a word hardly spoken. Unfortunately we didn't sample the lunch and dinner menu as the rude staff once seated put us off partaking after giving them a second chance and still the same treatment we decided to venture out. Thankfully Elche didn't disappoint!

"Although you are warned there are no tea and coffee facilities in your room, this is a big let down to any hotel. Being unable to make a simple cup of coffee or tea on a night or in the morning , was very low standard for this hotel , it’s a very basic need customers and not difficult to provide ..."
