"Very quiet country like Villas, secluded, secured parking. The rooms have bunk beds which increases the bed count with larger rooms that fit up to 7. The hotel is near the animal refuge and some great local restaurants, if you are driving."

"I enjoyed my time at Doubletree Hotel in Carirari in Costa Rica. The property is really unique and the openness gave the hotel such an great vibe. While the property was a little dated, the hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly. The hotel was close enough to take an Uber to downtown San Jose to see some of the sites. The hotel has a shuttle for drop off and pick up at the airport. I highly recommend this hotel if you're staying in the San Jose area. "
"Everything was pristine clean, comfortable, quiet, great shower! The staff were friendly and always helped me and I found what I needed. With only a few hours to explore, front desk staff helped me with recommendations, which I followed and appreciated! Food was fantastic! Thank you to all the staff! "
"The hotel decor is breathtaking! They have the second largest art collection , after the art museum. Truly beautiful, yet comfortable and welcoming. Bed was wonderful - Best sleep I had all week. And the restaurant has a delightful atmosphere and delicious, artfully presented meals. Wish I didn’t have to leave so soon for my flight home. I felt very special here. I loved this hotel! "
