You never know what you're going to get when you stay west of Dowtown. This hotel was nice and quaint. Staff was kind and the room was great. Super affordable, great location. Would absolutely stay again.

The best price/quality ratio, extremely welcoming and accommodating personnel, walking distance to multiple restaurants and I would assume public transport. The hotel has its own parking space that conflicts with the property description on Expedia, but it was very easy to get around to the Magic Box, Beverly Hills and seems that everything was pretty reachable (traffic is no worse than in DC for sure!). The hotel itself is newly renovated, small and has very comfortable rooms. In case of outside noise, we were able to turn the AC on fan and it was very nice stable white noise throughout the night versus our friends (we were staying for a conference) who didn’t have this option, suffered sleepless nights throughout their stay. We had literally no issues at all and so grateful for staying in Metropolitan Inn. Will definitely recommend to everyone!

Property was nice and staff was friendly. Pictures are as is. Theres plenty of places to eat, theres even a korean bbq place right next door. My only real issue is the parking. Expedia says theresno on sight parking, but there is. But only 6 spots and they are $30 a piece. So make sure to find a way to park for your stay.

Hi Jose, thank you for the review. As you stated correctly, online we do say no parking onsite as we are limited. On the weekends, especially, we get full quickly so after that we let guests know we do not have any onsite parking available. I just want to know if the 3/5 rating you gave is because of the parking, as we clearly disclosed we do not have any. But, if it the room and stay then that is justified. I middle review really affects us mom and pop businesses as majority of customers usually leave reviews when there is something bad they wish to say rather than a guest who had a good stay but do not take the time to write a review. We truly appreciate your visit and hope to see you again.

Instead of this being called an Inn and Suite, it should be called a hourly motel. The smell was horrible. As soon as I opened the door, I had to get Lysol from my luggage and spray. It was old and outdated. There was no one at the desk and no security. I checked in at 9:30 and checked out at 11:30 pm and relocated to the Live Hotel across the street which was cheaper, cleaner, had security and served breakfast each day. I would definitely NOT recommend this place at all!

One review does not represent all who have come from out of state or country and actually enjoyed their stay and all say the room is extremely clean. The lady at the front desk also asked if everything was okay but your response was that you had to leave early unexpectedly without offering an explanation. Each and every room is actually wiped down with bleach and water mixer which is much better than what many places do. Hope LA was good to you but LA does not need divas, we already have enough.

Thats understandable because you had 7 guests in your room when only 4 are allowed in the middle of the night until morning. You should be happy we only charged 50 instead of the full 100 deposit. Also, we have video and photo proof of the number of guests entering and exiting before you decide to file a claim which not only will you lose you will also lose an additional 35 for filing that claim. Have yourself a swell day!

I enjoyed my stay here at Metropolitan. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel was clean. The only downside is the parking, which is an additional fee, small and its first come first bases so depending at what time you get in you don't know if you will have a parking space. Aside from that it was a great stay. I would definitely and probably will stay there again.

Unfortunately, as explained, it is stated online there is no parking at the property. There was no misadvertising it was just a lack of doing proper research. It is unfair to leave a 1 star when you never got to experience the staff or room which is what we sell and live on and to receive a 1star really hurts our reputation for the room not the parking which you are angry about. Don't be mad at someone else for your faults

The property was very clean and offered a lot of security. I did have to pay for the parking but it was worth it because the parking was right behind it and no one was going to be able to like hit my rental car if I parked down the street or anything. I felt very secure because there were cameras at the entrance way and in the hallways to ensure more security. I would recommend for others to stay here very worth your money. Also it was very close to a lot of things and very close to downtown so yeah I'll recommend.

Room was very nice. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Need lamps on bedside tables. Was difficult to understand the lady who worked the front desk, but she wà trying very hard to help us. Check-in area was adequate but nothing special. We were seeking a place rest and sleep and were very pleased with our room.

Hidden gem, this property I would see while I use to stay at the competitor across the street but due to some unforeseen circumstances caused by my travel companion the competitor placed me in the DNR (whoopie) well not the end all. I did find this location smaller but better service and not stuck up or jerks like the Ramada employees are. Metropolitan staff were awesome, do know that the parking is very reduced and only 6 spots but may be limited when full. I never encountered this but getting into 1 assigned spot always was a piece of work having to pull in then reverse to pull forward. then sharp turns with limited forward and backward moving when the lot was a bit full, def not ideal for the trucks or a big van. The suite is where I have always stayed, roomy and very well ventilated. Microwave and fridge provided. 2 tvs with directv, oh and the shower and body wash smell amazing

Room was clean and great if you need two full size beds with privacy. Parking and cost to park on property are outrages. If you have a big vehicle parking on the property is almost impossible. The parking lot is surrounded by walls and is stalled for 6 to 8 cars but with a big vehicle if all slots were used you would not be able to get out of the parking area. Difficult to communicate with staff but they over all were friendly.

I do apologize. But, as stated online, the parking does not have onsite parking. That is just a way to manage our parking as we only have 6 spots in total and usually are full by the time most reservations arrive. Those 6 spots are paid for spots. I do apologize for the confusion.

$25 parking spot was fine however if you are needing ADA assistance you would have to walk back to the main lobby in the front of motel for the one Elevator. Room was nice. Parking is small and limited. This an okay stay for couple days.

I am sorry to hear. Management emailed stating the situation at the hotel and gave ample time for you to cancel and book elsewhere, yet you still kept your reservation. A bad review for something we tried to give you information about is unfair for us small mom and pop businesses as it drops our rating and where we show up on booking websites. I appreciate your honesty but when information is providing in a separate conversation aside from website information, please email the hotel or talk to staff directly to express your dislikes. The property itself was clean and the room was nice, although our room smelled a lot like cigarette smoke despite it being a non smoking room. The room was clean and updated and looked nice, the parking lot is small and only accommodates about 5 cars and there is an additional charge for parking, it was $35 for my stay. What could have been improved was communication among staff, I messaged the property before my stay about late checkout and was told I can check out at 12 no additional charge, at check in I was told I can check out at 11:30 and that employee was

It is not the room, but people tend to smoke outside under that room and the smoke may have gotten into the windows and lingered. Cozy & safe hotel
I was kind of skeptical after reading all the mixed reviews but it was actual a great little hotel! We felt super safe and the check-in process was seamless. The front desk was super friendly and accommodating. My husband and I agreed that we would definitely stay here again!
