Lovely and quiet property close to Universal Studios

If you are traveling to LA to visit Universal Studios, the La Brea Tar Pits, The Griffith Observatory or Hollywood this is a perfectly placed large home that is easy to access and has a great outdoor space.

The Skyhill Oasis is absolutely gorgeous. We loved the smell of jasmine and the outdoor fireplace. The open layout of the home was very nice, and the bedrooms very comfortable.

Great Vacation Place

The Skyhill home is a great place to stay with family. Plenty of room for everyone. House was very clean and had everything we needed. The host was always available and responded quickly if I had a question. It was also close to Universal and Warners so we were not driving very far, which made our whole vacation!

Great stay

This home is even better in person. This home is inviting and spacious. We only spent the evening and night at the house as we spent all day at Universal Studios. We all enjoyed the luxurious backyard and hot tub. Darryl was a pleasure to speak with and was prompt with replies. We will most definitely be staying here again if available next year for our trip.

Amazing property with great location

This property is exactly as advertised- custom home with many upgrades. The interior is beautiful & comfortable and the yard is a relaxing oasis with a hot tub. Super convenient to Universal & Hollywood attractions & great restaurants. Darryl is a great host who is super responsive. Highly recommend for adults (on a hill with many stairs & stonework, so not kid friendly)

Great Home

Great home with a wonderful location! Quiet street and neighborhood. Super clean and true to the pictures. The teens loved the home automation. Great selection of board games for a fun family night. Add in the hot tub and pool table and it was wonderful. We were within a short drive of several great restaurants and tourist attractions. We will certainly keep this home in mind if we return to the area.

Long weekend

This property is very conveniently located and looks as advertised. Very nice, clean and efficient property. We only had small issues, and they were addressed very quickly. It was great to have this as a home base for a 4-day weekend with 5 teens, 2 of whom were visiting from another country. Very fun!

Wonderful retreat in the hills

We loved the Skyhill Oasis and how much space it provided. The hot tub with the outside TV was a great addition. The quiet residential area was a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of LA and the traffic. Universal is surprisingly close by, and the Getty and Griffith Observatory just short drives. The inside of the property was well kept and spotless, with all you may need for your stay. We have truly had a great stay. Thanks Darryl for your quick responses and being accommodating to make sure we had the best stay.

A good space for family get together

We enjoyed staying here due to the amount of space there was to spread out and mingle with family members from out of town over two different states. Had trouble accessing the house initially, because I never had a code texted to me. However, the host was very responsive, and we were able to get in within minutes of arrival. The lights were a challenge to work because a lot of them are connected to AI devices making it challenging at times, so there were many switches. We just didn’t even touch because we didn’t know how to work them. Overall a good space and I would stay there again

Best Birthday Ever!

I was turning 50 and wanted to get my family together in a new place. We're all from the east coast and none of us have really ever been to LA. SkyHill was in a FANTASTIC location, and we had great day trips to Hollywood, hiking, studios, the Getty Museum, and Santa Monica. We would have like to go to Malibu, but stayed away because of the recent land slides, but it's not too far away either. I had to get a BIG car to carry all my family around, and I had zero problems getting it into and out of the garage. I found the other people driving around the neighborhood were courteous and I quickly learned how to thread the vehicle through tight spaces. The neighborhood is quiet, and the hot tub was fantastic. We had fun learning how to use the home automation. I was really happy we chose this place!

Peaceful nice spot. Would be a pretty long and hilly walk on some busy streets to get to universal. Hosts are great and responsive.
