Great Beach House
The property is lovely and exactly as described. The furniture (indoor), sheets and supplied toiletries are high-end for a rental of this price in this area. The owner/manager is very responsive and helpful, We would definitely rent this property again.

Absolutely heavenly
Malibu is a very special place for me! Being that close to the water and enjoying the best sound machine ever every night is incredible since you are right on top of it! The house is perfect for small groups and entertaining, sipping wine and having dance parties! Cooking up a storm! Also when you want to take a moment and take in the romance and also sitting and reading a book by yourself, on the patio! It’s cute, Qwaint and the perfect little cottage ! I can’t wait to come back!

LOVED this property!!

Beautiful views
Our stay was amazing. The views were beautiful and the home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the dolphins and seals (or sea lions, not sure which) every day. Moujan is a fabulous host and we certainly plan to return for another stay.

Great place to relax
The property is great, everything was as described & we had absolutely no problems. The reason I booked this place was for a peaceful getaway during the 4th of July weekend when my neighborhood usually sounds like a gun range with all the random fireworks going off for days. Although the waves slamming below the house can be thunderous at times, they are soothing, relaxing & mesmerizing. Then you have the fresh ocean breeze blowing into the home like oxygen being pumped into your lungs, the stay there was therapeutic.

Perfect getaway
We stayed for a week and the house had everything we needed. We spent our days looking out over the water from the balconies and even saw some dolphins. It was a great break from SF.

Stunning location
This home is cozy. It's decorated very simply but with the stunning ocean view, it works. If you're a cook who likes her space, the kitchen will disappoint, with missing amenities like microwave and sharp knives. The internet was spotty and slow speed, but if you're looking to get away from your everyday life, that'll do the trick! The home is on an area of the beach that is accessible only at low tide and for just a few hours a day, but those few hours on the sand were delightful and stunning. The view is unmatched however, and, we even saw dolphins. The master bedroom on the top floor is romantic and comfortable.

The views from the deck were spectacular! Sunrise and sunsets for same deck! Daily dolphins and sea lions swimming past. It was fun to watch the tides come in and out daily. Walks on the beach when tide was out. The owner was wonderful to deal with, one of the best we’ve experienced with vrbo. Any questions or issues we had, he was quick to respond and resolve. The house is perfect for 3-4 people, Queen Bed in master, full bed in 2nd bedroom. We ended up being 6 when two others were able to join us and owner provided blow up mattresses to accommodate. There is no heat and it was cold during our stay, space heaters and two fireplaces helped keep house comfortable. The outdoor furniture needs to be replaced. Being cold and We had rain-which is unusual for sunny CA so it wasn’t nice enough to sit outside on decks, but we would have been disappointed with the outdoor seating, not to mention if its able to hold weight, a few pieces looked rotted through in spots especially on upper deck. Excellent thanksgiving weekend in Malibu California.

The place was clean and was pretty much as depicted in the pictures, although some of the furnishings are becoming a little worn. The view of the ocean was amazing and we really did see dolphins swimming not far from the deck. The property manager was nice and very responsive. Three things folks should know that aren’t entirely clear from the listing. 1. The place has no AC which usually is not a problem but we were there during a heat wave. We were able to cool the place down by opening the sliding doors and windows but there are no screens and so many bugs joined us. 2. Although there is a TV as promised, it is in the guest bedroom where the only furniture is the bed and thus there is no place to sit and watch it. Also, you can only watch what you can find through Roku. 3. There are two parking spots as promised. But, the place is only about 20 feet from the side of the Pacific Coast Highway which is four lane and heavily traveled. The two parking spots basically are on the berm of this very busy freeway-like highway. The people on the driver’s side literally had to wait for a break in the traffic to get out of the car.

Thank you much for your feedback Deb. Yes it was certainly one of the hottest days of the year, with several fires scorching all over town burning acres; schools shut down, evacuations etc. A very rare heat streak for this area that day. As stated on the site there is no central air, just fans and space heaters as needed. Most houses around this area are the same. These houses are directly on the water, and usually at least 10 to 15 degrees cooler than anywhere inland, so it's usually very nice. Also, yes PCH is a 'Highway' with a bike lane, then room to park for all. All houses/properties for several miles in both directions up and down the coast are the same if they are on the ocean side. We do have a single car garage that we use for boards, oars, scuba equipment etc. but this could be cleared out if anyone needs to park inside. Also true on the TV. It has Roku, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon prime and other subscriptions, but there is no cable. Anyone can however access their own cable account and stream any content they normally would. It is upstairs in the bedroom, and mostly for the kids. We are always doing some activity on the water or unplugging at the beach house. Will consider putting another TV in the living room if others prefer that, but we don't use it much ourselves.

Wonderful Getaway
We had the most wonderful and restorative stay at this beautiful place. It is not near the Ocean, it is ON the Ocean. From the living room, dining area, lower deck, master bedroom and master deck - we had unobstructed views of the mesmerizing, ever-changing sea. It felt like being in another world. The facilities were as advertised, clean, comfortable and in good condition. The Owner was very pleasant and responsive and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Weekend Escape
While I really wanted to rent the place for the location and the view, the place was so nice. It was much nicer than the photos. It was absolutely lovely. The roar of the waves with high tide coming in was refreshing and so fun to experience. I have never stayed quite on the ocean like this and it was a treat. This is a wet beach so we went to the beach close by during the day. The manager was very responsive. I didn't have good phone reception, but this is just what it is like by the beach in general so nothing to do with the place, but the manager emailed me and the internet worked well, so it was perfect. I'd definitely come back and rent this place again. Perfect weekend and exactly what we needed.

More ocean front than beach front
The house was what we expected and my family really enjoyed our stay. The only downside was we were hoping to have access to the beach all day. In reality the only time we had access to the beach was a few hours around the lowest tide of the day. After that the water was too high to be called a beach.

So glad we stayed!
Quite a beautiful experience. Malibu itself is filled with great experiences (and we had those too!) but, being able to come home each day and hang out together in a really amazing space was the best. Beginning each day that way was probably my favorite since it involved my coffee, low tides, glassy water and walking the wet beach looking at the tide pool creatures. We joked that we'd be the only review that didn't see the dolphins/seals/etc but, we saw those too!! Great time, very accommodating and accessible host. We feel lucky to have found this place available -- so worth it.

Half house half boat....
We rented the house for my son's wedding. It was perfect for 4 of us. The views are AMAZING. Being from the East Coast the house is different in the that it feels like it is literally built in the ocean at high tide. Dolphins swimming by are a daily occurrence. Would rent again! Has EVERYTHING you need!

The home is spacious with gorgeous views and was exactly as advertised.
We had a great stay and really loved the gorgeous views. The kitchen was well stocked and even came with lime and tonic so we could enjoy a lovely G & T on our first night. The property manager was responsive and accommodating. We saw dolphins every day in the water and the access to the property was easy and convenient. Would definitely stay here again.

Annual Friends' Gathering
House had great space for enjoying the ocean, hanging out and catching up. The waves crash up onto the lower deck during high tide, was amazing! But you can only walk on the beach during low tide. Master bedroom had breathtaking views. We saw dolphins and seals from the house.

Top of the ocean
This property is wonderful! As close to the ocean as you can get without actually getting wet. We stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and it was the most relaxing holiday our family has ever had. House is exactly as the pictures show. Great place to destress!

Breathtaking views for the right renter
“The setting of this small home on the PCH is breathtaking. We often felt like we were on the bow of a ship looking out across the ocean. The lights of Santa Monica in the distance added to the beauty of the spot; soft breezes and the sound of the ocean were always there. You're convenient to Malibu Pier, Sunset, and several beaches. All that said, however, this is a home where you need to be forewarned of its limitations. A get away weekend with no TV – great. Anything much more it is not a good choice. There are two lovely updated bathrooms and beyond that the house is only partly furnished and in notable disrepair. The kitchen is poorly stocked – literally only one pan that could be used in the oven; virtually all serving spoons were leftovers from carryout; the grill when we arrived was totally lost -- we literally could not see it -- behind a tree whose branches had collapsed over it – branches that someone came and cut for us but then left behind on the patio. There were no workable curtains; the only TV is in the second bedroom so if you want to watch with a group you have to pile onto the bed – and there are no local TV channels through cable just internet based services (very nice, but if it had been a football weekend quite inadequate); outdoor furniture was filthy (hard to keep clean near the ocean I’m sure) and the deck would have left a young child playing with splinters. I think the owners (who were very nice and responsive) are in the process of renovating and simply may have rented it too soon. For the right renter this place is great; for many others it will be a disappointment in some key respects (at least until renovations are completed – we were there July 2017).

Beautiful ocean views
This place is a gem! Mitra was very helpful and let me book last minute for my girlfriends birthday. The property is perfect, tranquil, decks over the ocean, breathtaking sunrise and sunset. Would highly recommend to anyone for any reason! Great people to work with!
