"Queen Mary is a beautiful ship! I really appreciated the history of it! Be aware that unless you're in a suite, the cabins do not have air conditioning. Not usually an issue in Long Beach, but we happened to be there on an unusually hot day (98 degrees!). There is some air circulation, and they provided portable fans, so it wasn't too bad. We also happened to be there when a concert was going on at the nearby amphitheatre. The concert usurped the parking, so we had to park off-site. They provided a shuttle and they discounted the parking fee, so not a big deal. Just a little annoying. If you plan on staying here (and I highly reccomend it), check the concert schedule or any other events happening in Long Beach."

"Entrance to the hotel is poor, and I had a lot of luggage traveling with an elderly, disabled father. It was not easy to get into the hotel and poor signage. Even our private driver said how bad it was in ALL the hotels he has driven and dropped off at."
