Family reunion
Beautiful property with panoramic views of the ocean and city. Close proximity to retail and grocery. Very spacious and private. Owners were easy to access. We would definitely vacation here again. Only one suggestion would be getting repeaters for internet on ground level since WiFi signal was weak on ground level.

Overall a great place to stay with a large group
The whole family loved the place, with a large kitchen, balconies, and beautiful views, it's hard not to like the house itself. There were some basic items missing, like body soap in all the bathrooms, washcloths, and a sponge to do dishes. Other than than, we would stay here again.

A bit disappointed
The house location and structure are amazing, but for the "high end" renter, you will be disappointed: First, the beach is filthy with litter (not owner's fault) and has so much trash, including a dead cat and dead pelican wrapped up in the trash, that we never really used the beach in front of the home, but went to other, cleaner beaches. Second, the house needs a lot of attention: One bedroom ensuite shower did not work at all, and we were never advised of this before renting and staying, including upon the checkin. Many broken granite counter tops, compactor doesn't work, the ice machine in the island wasn't working, and the BBQ was cheap and difficult to cook on. The front door would not open from the outside and we were not given the garage code. Used the garage remotes. The pool table had only one question with a tip, out of four ques. Kitchen utensils are inadequate and cheap. There was not one knife capable of cutting a steak.These little things all added up. If I paid 300-400 per nt, I would be fine, but shelling out big bucks (for me) I expected "big buck" delivery. Their son was a delightful young man, but literally spent 5 minutes with us. We never figured out how to use the in-home stereo system, and could have been better informed about the issues above, rather than figuring them out on our own. We had a great time, but won't be back....

Everything was good at the property and the manager was very helpful and respectful there was one issue where a bathroom shower leaked on a bed this was also in a previous review apparently they have not fixed that issue but are working on it. Another shower was not working and a door on a different shower had issues. All in all everything else was good. The city needs to do a better job of cleaning up since the beach was flooded with debris - we actually found a syringe on the beach. No fault of the owners, but not good since we had children. Had to travel to a different beach. Made the best of it.

Great Beach location!
The communication was suburb! Probably the best I have experienced. We didn't experience any problems but when needed something they responded immediately! The house is large and directly on the beach! Made for a wonderful vacay. Fully recommend

Perfect for our group!
We held our quarterly team meeting here in addition to our out-of-town employees staying. It was a great space for all of this! The views and location were awesome and the house had all of the amenities we needed.

Beautiful house with ocean view, minor plumbing issue encountered
We stayed at this lovely house last week and had a wonderful experience overall. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated, with a stunning ocean view that we enjoyed thoroughly. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from the beach, which was perfect for our beach getaway. We encountered a minor leak from the ceiling in a bedroom. While it caused some inconvenience, as we had to move the mattress from the bed frame, the host was responsive and addressed the issue promptly. We appreciate their attentiveness and efforts to try to resolve the situation. Despite this minor setback, we still had a fantastic stay at this house and would definitely recommend it to others. The positive aspects of the property far outweighed the single inconvenience we experienced.

Business holiday retreat
Beautiful property in a perfect location. Easy to get to many attractions and restaurants. Gondola ride nearby was wonderful. Everyone had their own private bedrooms and en suite facilities. We were met by the owners son, who is also the manager of the property, who was incredibly helpful and attentive. We had previously spoken directly to the owner of the property, who we found very friendly, and accommodating for a couple of our special requests. We would highly recommend this property and would come again ourselves.

We Loved This House
We were looking for something big enough to host our family for a few days. We wanted a view (amazing view), we wanted enough space to hang out, play games, watch movies together, be close to restaurants and shops and walk on the beach. We were not disappointed. The garage is also super large - enough for 3 cars and there are nice activity extras like paddle boards, surfboard, etc. No bikes, but you can rent bikes right around the corner, which we did. We were greeted and shown the house by the host who was very nice. The house was stocked well with everything we needed. We also had our 90 year old mother with us, so the elevator was a must and worked great. If you’re looking for a special house for a special event, this house is definitely that.

Great family getaway at a gorgeous beach house!!!
We had a great time staying at this beautiful beach house! There were 9 of us (us parents and 7 kids aged 23-16) and we had enough room for all of us. The beach is right outside the door and the house is centrally located and close to restaurants and lots of activity. The owner and property manager were attentive and accommodating to our group. Thank you very much Joe for sharing your amazing place with us. We loved every second of our stay.

Great for large group
We spent the weekend with large family group after trip to Disney. Was great time relaxing in this BIG home - where we all had our own spaces to retreat to when needed. And after lots of eating out, was nice to use the deluxe kitchen, and brand new bbq, for some home cooking. One note - and this could have been due to tropical storm the week before so hosts could confirm - there was a significant hill of sand quite close to the boardwalk and the surf was strong at the beach directly in front of the house....however, you are a quick walk to the Bay side to enjoy your calmer beach time.

Fantastic home/location and incredible hosts!
We had a phenomenal time at the beautiful "beach front exec home". We celebrated my mom's bday with a small group of friends and family and the hosts Joe and Jason were so generous, helpful and responsive. The home is just stunning, gorgeous views and a bathroom for every bedroom and then some. Loved the speaker system in the ceilings, and all the special touches throughout the house. Already planning our return visit next year!! Such a great find!

We had a 6 night stay at this super deluxe property in Long Beach. House was beautiful, accurately described in VRBO listing and was clean. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for high end accommodations, plenty of space and proximity to beach, restaurants, etc. Oh, by the way, it has an elevator and is accessible

Girls' Getaway; 60th Birthday Celebration
The home is absolutely spectacular! My friends and I had a wonderful stay! The views are breathtakingly beautiful. I along with 5 girlfriends stayed at the house to celebrate a BIG birthday. At our age, we're beyond wanting to share rooms, so it was a particular luxury that everyone had their own bed AND bathroom. The place was spotless; close to the Marina and 2nd Street restaurants; and adjacent to the Boardwalk; so GREAT for beachside walks. The evenings got a little chilly, but the excellent heating system warmed the VERY large home nicely. Only downside; wifi and phone service was a little spotty at times, which was still not too much of a problem as one of the ladies was able to login to a work meeting with ease. Would happily return! Thank you for a great time and memorable birthday! My friends said they "felt like royalty."

This is a beautiful home in an incredible spot along the beach. Each bedroom had an en suite bathroom which was awesome for all. The kitchen was huge and made it lots of fun for all to hang out in. We will definitely go back again!! The only reason i only gave it 4* for it’s overall review is that the home is tired and needs some TLC. The owners and manager were extremely good to work with and responded immediately to any issue we had. We gave the property manager a list of items (per their request) that need attention and some suggestions for the next guests. If they follow these ideas this house immediately becomes a 5* place and worth every $…

Better than expected!
Our group of 9 extended family members loved this house. First, it was very clean. Despite a lot of surfaces, shelves, etc, there was not a spec of dust. The sofas and recliners were very comfortable and the TVs were high quality. The layout was perfect, achieving a nice spacious but cozy feeling. The kitchen was fully stocked. While some renters might find the mini wall of sand to be a small nuisance, my kids loved it. They played in that sand for hours. We are very grateful for the big shovel in the garage. The beach was so nice and quiet and the views from the house were spectacular.

Tuscany by the Sea
We selected this amazing house as the location to celebrate my sister's 50th birthday weekend. This three-story mansion was incredibly spacious! The bottom floor with the pool table served as an excellent hangout area for the teens in the family. My sister felt like she was dreaming in her massive master suite with a spectacular view on the third floor. We enjoyed taking the two SUPs out on the calm ocean waters. Jason checked us in and was very warm, friendly, and welcoming. No one wanted to leave at the end of our magical stay.

Great views but needs some work
The property is in a great location with beautiful views and there was lots of space for our family to spread out. Having a bathroom for every bedroom was a bonus. The owners/property manager had great communication and were very responsive but there were also some issues with the property. For a high-end luxury rental, the house needs some work and improvement. The elevator wasn't operational and we had workman in the rental for 2 days during our stay. We would have been in a bind if we had had an elderly or disabled person in our group. To their credit, they did inform me about the elevator the day before I was checking in and helped me carry my groceries and supplies up to the second floor kitchen when I checked in. The kitchen had space and high end appliances but they are not calibrating oven temperatures correctly and need service. Also, the kitchen was missing many amenities. There were only plastic drinking glasses, silverware and dishes were mismatched. There weren't any serving dishes and the pans were old and crusty. If you are planning to do any cooking and entertaining in the house, bring your own stuff. There was enough toilet paper for our stay but we needed to buy paper towels and trash bags. I reached out to the owner at the beginning of our stay for a few issues like getting the oven cleaned (it was so dirty we could not cook in it), to provide a broom and plunger, check the water heater as we were only getting luke warm water and they responded right away and rectified the issues. In order for this to be a 5 star property, they need to clean the carpets and rugs, appoint the kitchen with higher quality amenities and better maintain the house in general. There were lightbulbs out, lamps that didn't work, fans not working correctly in the bedrooms, and the downstairs TV was not hooked up. In general, they need to better maintain and appoint the property to justify the luxury status and price being charged.

Joe and Jason were very accommodating and responsive. The fact that each bedroom has its own bathroom was great, and there is plenty of space to go around. The master bedroom is fantastic and the beds were all very comfortable. The house itself is a little older and had some things here and there that could be updated or fixed, but overall we had a great time.

Great house, but . . .
First the good: The bones of the house and the location of the house are amazing!!! The beds were comfortable and all furniture was in good shape. The not so good: There was an overall lack of hospitality and sense of abandonment of the house. There were 8 bathrooms - none of which had a hair dryer. One on-suite bathroom did not have a mirror above the sink. For the ladies in our group, these issues were irritating. One bathroom toilet also had the water turned off because of a malfunction, which the cleaning crew should have noticed and had addressed. The owner was very responsive and sent a plumber out immediately, but we shouldn't have had to make the call within the first 30 minutes of arrival. There is no ice maker so be sure to pick up ice. Because of the time of year, we needed to use the AC. The AC cycled on and off through the night, causing a huge pull/push of air, causing LOUD sounds throughout the house. Seriously, like a monster crashing through the doors. Given the very public location of the house, these LOUD sounds were completely disruptive to sleep. I'm guessing the HVAC system is out of balance, but I don't know. Entry/Exit to the house were through the garage, using the garage door openers. We were not given a code or access to use the front door. This meant that early morning runners had to run the garage door in order to enter the house, waking other guests. There was very little "extras" in the house. Meaning, exactly 2 pilllows per bed, no throw blankets or extra bedding, etc. so hard to make personally comfortable if that bed didn't have exactly the right fit of pillows and warmth. While some of these may seem petty, they really do impact both the quality of sleep and having guests feel WELCOME. Overall, between what was left behind vs what wasn't, the house did not offer as much hospitality as expected given the extraordinary quality of the house.

Hi Kelli, Thank you for your detailed message as I have given instructions to the property manager to have the air conditioning serviced. Further, I do understand the plumbing in one of the toilets was not operational. When I received this message, I contacted the plumber who had already been contacted by the cleaning crew to immediately go to the property and repair. From my understanding, this was repaired within two hours. As for the ice maker, there is an ice maker in the kitchen. This may have not been noticeable as the front of the ice maker is wood panel matching the cabinetry. Further, there is also a ice maker in the large refrigerator. As for a mirror not in one of the bathrooms, I want to thank you for this as this was my sons room who never told me about this. There is a window above the sink overlooking the ocean. There will be a mirror in this bathroom within one week as I agree it will be difficult for anyone not to have one. As for access to the property, we unsuccessfully had a electronic lock on the front door, but due to moisture, it was not reliable. I do understand this concern and will try to adjust in the future. My apologies if the property manager did not show you where the throw blankets, extra pillows and blankets were located. They are in the cabinets located in the laundry room. Location, location, location! You will love this area! Beautiful beach, lovely boardwalk , clean sand, perfect blue water, quiet neighborhood, friendly people. The beach feels like it is private just for you. The few others you may pass walking the beach are lovely and welcoming. We met many adorable dogs passing by on their daily walks. The house is absolutely amazing, you can not go wrong with this rental. Absolutely will visit again!! Thank you J!

Super home. Great location to beach
Our whole family had the best time. Having 6 bedrooms with private bathrooms was perfect. The kitchen and eating area was a super size and pool table on the lower floor enabled the grown ups to enjoy time whilst children were in bed. Location to the beach was amazing. Having the paddle boards and Kayak was a huge hit. I highly Recommend this home to make family memories.

Such a Great Place to Stay and Enjoy
This is a beautiful property. Plenty of space for our three families to get together, or sequester downstais in the billiards (pool) room area, upstairs in the common area, or in the master suite which is an apartment unto itself. All the amenities are there, plenty odf refrigerator space, lot's of cooking and prep space. We had three wanna be Chefs, all getting along in the kitchen with no mishaps or bumps. There is the ocean right out front and a very short walk the other way is the bay. The ocean was great for the waves and boogie boards while the bay was perfect for SUP riding and enjoying gentle lapping water. The owners were very helpful and while we didn't need to call them for anything, they gave us the feeling that whatever we needed, they would take care of it. All in all, we had a great time in a great house.

The Perfect Spot!
This was our second time renting this beautiful home. The home is in a fantastic spot. The ocean is out your back door, with ocean views from the first, second and third floors, and the bay a 2 minute walk out the front door. Grocery stores and restaurants are a short 10 minute ride. There is a convenient store and a coffee shop/restaurant/bar a 3 minute walk away. The house is in great shape. The owners manage the property themselves and they are a delight to work with. If you need a house this size, just stop looking and book it. We are in the process of booking our next stay already.

Amazing home and location!
The property was amazing, right on the beach and walking distance to restaurants! The home itself is huge, and beautiful. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. The only things I would have hoped to be different would be the cameras inside the home, this made some of our guests uncomfortable. Also, the amount of family pictures inside the home took away from the vibe as well. Otherwise, it was amazing!

Hello and thanks for your comments. As for the cameras in the common area facing exterior doors, they are not turned on during guest stays. Since the property is frequently occupied, we will remove the interior cameras so all guests are comfortable during their stay. Thanks for your comments!

Dolphins Every Morning!
We had a fabulous week in a home that graciously accommodated our group! The bedrooms all have en-suite baths. The multiple living areas have ample furnishings for entertaining. They layout was perfect if you have to spend any time working remotely and still want to watch the dolphins!!! The views are stunning. We were able to tandem park 6 cars (including a truck and Range Rover) in the garages. Street parking was also easily accessible. We will definitely be back! Thanks Jo V!

Nice Home/Hosts but Neighbors are unpleasant & grouchy
This property most definitely served my groups needs in terms of space. The hosts are also very communicative and polite. The reason for 4 stars is due to the elevator being broken and grouchy neighbours.

Unfortunately, the elevator has been out of service and the repair company is not able to be at the property for over 3 weeks. You were advised of the situation prior to arrival. Also, as this is an area where others call home, sometimes the neighbors could get a little irritated by loud noises after 2 in the morning. Fortunately, the neighbor did say all was good the following nights. Thank you for staying at the property with your family and friends and we hope to see you in the future.

This house is absolutely incredible. We came down for a local festival with four other couples. It is so spacious to where everyone had their own privacy. The common areas where a blast when everyone hung out together. The staff was friendly and super responsive. I was beyond satisfied with our stay. I want to book this house every single year we come down to the Long Beach area.
