Minutes from the airport, and close to both cute little downtown of El Segundo and highway to head into LA. The beach is also a few minutes away. The house was nice, cute, suitable for a family who doesn't mind sleeping in the same room. The place was dirty! The only towels were hand towels and wash cloths. Oh and then there were the cockroaches… Yikes! Shower was moldy and the shower curtain had mold 1/3 of the way up. We had an excellent time at this guest house! Bob and Emma were very responsive and helpful and gave detailed information for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant and the location was very convenient to get just about anywhere in greater LA (less than 40 minutes in almost every case). Two MINOR things: There are rectangular gaps cut into the top of the wall between the living space and the bedroom (which we didn’t realize ahead of time but we presumed was for code reasons) that made things a little challenging noisewise after the kids went to bed, and the cold water faucet piece needed to be fixed on the sink. The futon was not very comfortable to sleep on; I would recommend not planning to use it as a bed.
