"Nice house. We really enjoyed our time by the Lake...Submarine sandwiches at the Loon Lake Deli...Drove to North Creek. Ate dinner at The Loon Lake restaurant....Had fun everything we went to Chestertown...ty for the amenities.Was comfortable sleeping and peaceful inthe backyard@! Saw 3 generation's of Turkeys. Love nature love ADK GOD DOES PROVIDE. Thank you Heather!!-*****"
All-Season Family Retreat w/ Dock on Loon Lake!

"My family stayed here for four nights with our dog, and it was a great base for the Adirondacks. Close to the main road for travel to Schroon Lake and Lake George, but still remote enough to feel like an escape. The house itself was spacious and had every amenity we needed, including coffee and toiletries, and the backyard was perfect for a fire. We enjoyed eating at the table in the screened in porch and sitting on the swings on the deck. Very clean and nice decor for the "woods" feel. We had a great stay and would look to stay here again."

"The house was perfect! The kitchen was fully stocked, even had some basic spices. I brought a lot from home and only needed my crockpot and pizza pans. The lake was beautiful, clean and clear. Although there were boats, never more than a couple at any given time. The houses beach area is set in a bit of a cove, never close to boats. There is a marina on the lake, we rented a boat for a day, worth it!! Reserve in advance. My group loved playing ping pong. There were lots of games, puzzles and books. I brought lake towels, but it wasn’t necessary, there were 10 lake towels and plenty of shower towels, face cloths and hand towels. The house does not have AC, but each room has ceiling fans. There were a couple window fans… I brought 4 window fans from home. During our mid-July week, we had a comfortable in the house throughout the day and night. We would like to return in future years, highly recommend this home."

"We are a family of 17 and we spent our annual vacation at Eagles Nest. It's centrally located, a reasonable distance from several attractions. The home was perfect for us with plenty of room for everyone and we had a memorable week. Upon arrival, the home was very clean. Cheri (the owner) is excellent at communicating. She responded quickly to any questions. Definitely recommend Eagles Nest!"
Rustic Adirondacks Home w/ Hot Tub & Lake Access!

"Overall our stay was good. The house was clean and very well stocked. Plenty of room to sleep. Couple things to have in mind if your traveling with multiple dogs or kids: the backyard is fenced in but kinda rough around the edges and could use a little TLC (ex. cleaner furniture and outdoor cushions). Also, the house is on a main busy road and the walk to the lake access is short but not very enjoyable. There is no sidewalk and traffic was pretty substantial. We ended up driving to the lake access - which worked out since we could park our car right there. The space had good setup with kayaks and dock. Our puppies definitely enjoyed swimming and playing in the water. We found a great restaurant in Chestertown called Remington on Main. Great food and drinks ! Definitely recommending."
