"We loved this home, one of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. It was perfect for my family and I and it had everything we needed for our stay It was super clean. The view was gorgeous. There were so places to sit and relax with everyone, inside and out. I can't say enough nice things about this place. The pictures did not do it justice. There was plenty of parking. There was an elevator to get our bags upstairs. The dock out back was a great spot to sit or fish, beautiful sunsets. Great communication from the host.We were about a ten minute drive to today beach and a few local markets. About 20 or so minutes to bigger stores and Surf City. A great, quieter section of the coast.10 out of 10, I would recommend this place to anyone without hesitation. I hope we get to stay again sometime."

"Great house! Duplex, and that's not revealed on website, but was no problem. My family of 5 adults and 5 children had plenty of room. Third floor loft with pullout couch had room for single size air mattress I brought, so 3 kids were able to sleep there next to parents' bedroom, which has a spacious and lovely bathroom. Other bedrooms are on first floor. Second floor is open plan with beautiful kitchen; lots of countertops and storage spaces. Have to carry groceries up a flight of stairs after you get them in the house.Takes about 10 minutes to walk from house to spot on beach directly in front of house because the path isn't a straight shot. Beach gear provided: chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, both a cart and wagon to load things in and pull to beach. Difficult to pull through soft sand of dunes. My son opted to take street behind house to the point. (Only 3 houses between us and end of street.) Enjoyed riding bikes there.Marine base nearby meant helicopters overhead multiple times daily and we enjoyed seeing them, especially when they joined search for woman who had walked too far into ocean and disappeared. Sandbars make water very shallow but she stepped into a steep dropoff and got swept by current. She was found and rescued!Recommend Missiles and More Museum to learn history of Topsail Island (no charge) and Karen Beasley Turtle Rescue Center. Make reservations for guided tour in advance by purchasing tickets online. About 7 each buys food, meds for turtles."

"The house was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that was needed for meal preparation. The view was gorgeous and very relaxing! Very peaceful and private, but close to everything we needed or wanted to do!"
