It did feel a bit odd going down there because it is in their back yard. The cottage is great for 4-6 adults. Any more than that would probably feel crowded in the main areas of the cottage. There is a great screened in porch that we really enjoyed.The refrigerator has an ice maker; there is a k-cup and a regular drip coffee maker that takes regular filters (not the cone shaped). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!" If it had been Summer, we definitely would have used the decks and the lakeside chairs longer and more frequently.Each room had its own temperature-regulated system so we were all very comfortable throughout the house. The rental gave the feeling of being isolated, but we were actually only a few miles from the town of Meredith and some great restaurants, which we frequented every evening.We have visited this area before and have always found new hiking trails and places to visit every year."
