"Each time we have visited we have been so happy with how well this cabin is stocked. We cook every night and the kitchen is well-stocked with dishes, cutlery and knives. Some essentials are always there as well. Everything is clean and it all makes for a great stay. Looking forward to our next visit."

We've stayed at places where it's not and the host will ghost you as soon as you check in. Not here. Gary is an excellent host- he checked in with us, is knowledgeable about the area, and responsive! It's nice to communicate with a real human! The cabin is absolutely the perfect home away from home. We can't wait to go back!"

House was super clean, hosts were responsive and provided a lot of helpful information about the home and the area that helped make our stay great. We spent a day in Yosemite and a day exploring Sonora and the Columbia state historic park, which was a big hit with our 3 year old. "Took a snow trip with our 3 kids and dog as an alternative to the Tahoe area. I should’ve researched the elevation of Arnold better- I didn’t realize there wouldn’t likely be snow at the property. But it was only about 30 minutes to the summit with plenty of snow and skiing and I didn’t mind it after all. Even on President’s Day Weekend, traffic in the area was fine compared to the Tahoe area. "Fun with family including the dogs"

"Overall, we had a wonderful stay! The owner was great with communicaton and even let us check in early. The cabin was clean and ready for our visit. It was in a great location, a short drive from Pinecrest and Dodge Ridge. There is wifi which was a plus and service, so it was easy to make phone calls, if needed. Our kids enjoyed playing outside and our dog loved taking a walk in the neighborhood. Overall, it was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!"

"We visited Twain Harte for a family gathering. Our guest contact Antoinette was great. She reached out before, during, and at the end of the stay. The house was beautiful, super clean and well appointed. Pictures on the VRBO site were wonderful but in person even better. Would definitely stay again should we be in the area."

"My wife and I stayed at Apache Pines in September for hiking and site seeing, and again in February to ski at Bear Valley. We like the house and its location and are likely to stay there in the future. Parking would be an issue in the winter if there are more than two cars. The lower level of the house has a bedroom, bath and family room which are great if traveling with kids. There is no master suite, the two upstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. This is a great place for a small group or family....

"My husband, kids (ages 11 and 8) stayed here and absolutely loved it. The cabin was so clean, nicely decorated, super cozy, had comfortable beds and was just the cutest little place. We only stayed one night because we just wanted a place close to Dodge to ski, but we could have happily stayed a week. It was the perfect spot for enjoying a movie night on the comfy couch and oversized chairs, a kitchen the was plenty big enough and well stocked, a terrific heating system that warmed up the house...
