Terrible smells in the room and corridor, staff that behave as if they’re too busy to attend to you, so called breakfast is a bag food brought to your door at a requested time, old uncomfortable mattress, fungal stained towels.

Atrocious
Atrocious experience. Tony’s hotel had a leak, so I was taken to another hotel which was grossly inferior. The window did not lock, the bed linen was stained, there were no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room, the shower curtain was held up with rings, there was a dirty rag on the floor, no bedside light. I did not feel safe in that hotel and there were no vacancies nearby. I am still waiting for a refund

DON’T USE THIS PLACE. My plane was delayed and I notified the hotel that I would arrive well after midnight. When I arrived the hotel could not bother to let me in and I was stranded on the street in the middle of the night!

A comfortable stay
The room was clean and comfortable, but a bit small for a double room. The staff were friendly, we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel before we checked in, and again after we checked out. The breakfast items provided were of a reasonable quantity and quality. The location is excellent and very convenient. lots of cafes and restaurants nearby.

While a short walk from Paddington Station, we had to carry our bags up four flights of narrow stairs to a very cramped room which was not clean, did not have a running shower, the toilet leaked water on the floor and the TV never worked. We also had to ask staff for clean bedsheet covers and then put them on ourselves. Heaven forbid if there's ever a fire in the place, nobody would get out from the top floors. Will never ever ever stay here again!

Lovely friendly people running the hotel. Breakfast was brought directly to our room at our chosen time. Our room was compact and the hotel was clean with comfortable beds.

More of guest house than a hotel. Room and bathroom very small. Could have been cleaner. Can feel the vibration of the tube passing underground. Fresh towels, linen and little soaps provided. Breakfast brought to room which consisted of: Cartons of juice, croissants, bread rolls, chocolate brioche rolls, yoghurt, chocolate mini roll bars, nutrigrain bars, butter, cheese and jams. Staff friendly.

Acceptable price if just for sleeping
Room very small but warm enough for the extremely cold weather. An extra heater is available on top of the radiator. Our room was on the first floor and can feel noise when underground trains passed. Reception was helpful but sometimes no one was available.

Tony’s family stay.
Stayed in room nine, for a family of four. The beds were ok but the room was very small. No room for anything apart from sleeping. Staff were very friendly. Bathroom was also small very basic and need some work on it. Lights in the room were very dim. A place to crash out at only. Breakfast was rubbish! We didn’t eat it. The kettle in the room needed put in the bin. Overall it’s only a place to sleep, quick shower then get out for the day.

Read the one star reviews the pictures on the web are lies reserved room for 8 days month ago coming from the states after 12 hour journey was looking forward to a private bath as it stated on web when I got to room had shower and sink in corner of room no toilet was shared 3 floors down from my room with very narrow steps fall risk with my bad back shower in room was open to room no curtains room nasty no tolet paper . Shared bath not clean. Left hotel Expedia won't refund unless Manger of hotel approves Expedia insurance not worth crap. please google reviews on this hotel I think there boting there reviews on web sites to improve ratings it is a trap stay away from this hotel read the one star reviews

Pretty much what it said on the tin: 2-star place to stay near Paddington Station. I needed somewhere to stay for a single night while on layover and this fit the bill; that said, the noise (both of the other residents that night and of the underground rumbling below) was definitely worse than I expected. As far as a roof over my head is concerned, it did the job. However, I didn't sleep much due to the noise, and while the security was acceptable (manual flip lock on the door) I didn't *feel* very secure since my room was on an accessway and the door had no sound insulation, meaning I had voices walking past my door all night, up to 2am.

Room nice neat, abit cold otherwise fine. Breakfast free given evening before as I was up early, nice continental style. So all in all good. Prices very high this week.

Had an emergency had to leave still charged full price. Not understanding at all. In a secluded back alley, dark streets broken lighting. Men drinking alcohol standing/sitting around entrance and outside. Never again, please do not book.

We were a family of 4 and got the room on the 4th floor with 2 full beds. It was extremely small to the point that we had to walk over our hand luggage to get to small bathroom. Could hardly open bathroom door. The shower was handheld and so it was hard to shower. The beds were extremely rickety. The check in was efficient and service was good but the property needs maintenance. We just booked it as we were desperate and needed to be near Paddington. Location was good. We have stayed at a few of these hotels near the station and for the price I would suggest anywhere else. They may have larger family rooms but the one we had was too tiny to be even remotely comfortable.

Yes breakfast delivered to room, excellent since I was up 7am, delivered previous evening. Room ok, top floor, quiet, warm etc Bed good. Bathroom needs attention shower head etc So a good stay.

For the price that I paid, I could not have asked for a better room anywhere else. Even the Covid Breakfast, which was sent to my room, had everything you would find at a normal hotel breakfast. The staff is friendly and accommodating as well. In my opinion, this hotel deserves more stars

Very disappointed by the standards on this hotel. The rooms do not look like the pictures when booking - rooms and toilets weren’t cleaned at all, wallpaper was ripping off the wall, toilet seat was cracked and broken and the rooms smelt damp. Could not enjoy our stay there and would not stay again

Tony’s House came to the rescue on last minute. com when we found our booking elsewhere wasn’t confirmed . For a last minute booking they were very helpful and our room en suite was small but clean.

The rooms are not looking like the pictures shown on your website. I was given a very small room, toilet not clean and the smell of cigarette in the room. The room was smelling badly, and not clean on some places on the war.

Very disappointing. Turned up expecting a double and a single room. Too be told the room wasn’t available then was told we’d have to go to another hotel down the road. If we’d have been told it wasn’t available we’d have found something else ourselves.

good for the price
The hotel was overall good for the price, but unfortunately under bathroom section it said privativem with a shower, what literally meant we have a shower in the room but no toilet. The hotel crew was super nice though and for the price was nice. Super close to the Paddington bus/train/underground station. Would recommend.

The property was close to where we wanted to go. The only complaint i would have is rude people with no respect for others wen coming in the hotel. Very loud at 1 30 in the morning not the hotel’s fault. If i had children with me would ask them to be quiet

When I arrived at 2:15pm to check in nobody was there. Had to wait 15min for someone to arrive to check me in. No sign left to notify when they would be back. Room was as expected, lights in bathroom too dim to properly see anything, mattress either needs replacing or flipped. No support whatsoever on one side.

AVOID THIS PLACE. No lift so you have to carry cases up four flights of stairs. Noisey people in other rooms. My shower didn't work. Had to share a dirty toilet with others. Room was really hot no air con. No apology for the shower not working. Not a very nice place at all.

Shocking service. Allowed themselves to be over booked. Let customers arrive knowing they didn’t have a room for them for weeks. Then try to relocate us wherever they could on the day. Wasn’t the only people they had done this too on the day either.. Never using again.
