Spinnaker Point #2 - BEACH FRONT! Come Stay At Our Lake House in Bear Lake, Utah!
**Discount Ski Passes Available! (Please contact us before checking in to arrange Beaver Mountain Discount Passes)** Spinnaker Point is one of the best beach front locations in Bear Lake! There are many beautiful places to rent here in Bear Lake, but what Spinnaker Point provides as a place for your family to call home base is truly unique. In addition to the 2,200 sq. ft. luxury remodeled towhhome space, you'll have so many more amenities that will make your vacation unforgettable. Being a beach front property, you'll have easy and private access (shared with only 5 other properties) to the lake. There is a brand new 80 foot dock that extends out into the lake, which provides an easy place to dock your boat/jet skis (depending on water levels). The 2/3rd acre of lawn provides the perfect place for kids to run around and play yard games. The fire pit is a great place to gather in the evenings and roast s'mores. In addition to being right on the lake, you are also within walking distance to all of the restaurants, shake shops, and stores in Garden City. The location of this condo is truly unbeatable.
The townhome itself has 2 levels of private decks, providing a comfortable place to enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake. The BBQ grill and outdoor seating make the decks the perfect place to enjoy a delicious meal together. The large windows and sliding doors provide an easy view of the lake from anywhere within the home. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you might need. The living space is bright and spacious, perfect for gathering together in the evenings. The TV is a 65" Samsung with built in ability to AirPlay whatever you're watching on your phone direct to the TV. You will love the ability to play videos or pictures they took throughout the day to the TV as they gather in the evenings or to pull up their own Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, etc. account and easily cast it to the TV. A significant problem with many properties at Bear Lake is parking. Not here! In addition to the garage you have 6 parking spots (three double deep spots so you can leave the boat or trailer hooked to your vehicle if desired).
For your convenience in planning, here is the exact arrangement of each of the bedrooms: Main Floor Master: King (sleeps 2) Upstairs loft: Queen, Full-over-Full bunk, Twin-over-Twin bunk & Futon (sleeps 9) Lower Level Bedroom 1: Twin-over-Queen bunk & sleeping mat (sleeps 4) Lower Level Bedroom 2: Queen (sleeps 2) Living Room: Pull out couch (sleeps 1-2)
***The main living space (kitchen/dining/living areas) is on the 2nd floor of this condo*** ***The water level is constantly changing--dock at your own risk. Furthermore, the dock is under control of the HOA. There have been summers where they have decided the water level is too low to safely put the dock in the water. If this is the case, the dock will not be available for guest use.

We had the greatest time at Bear lake in Garden city. Love the view from our rental and our rental pontoon boat was the high lite. Our Grandson said it was the greatest time of his life.
This home was amazing- the house was so clean, comfortable and quiet! The views were incredible and the deck space was perfect. Great communication! We plan to stay here during future visits! Loved it!
This place was a great fit for our family. Right on the lake with a dock for our boat and paddle boards. We enjoyed the grassy area and playground, but the yard and equipment could use some upkeep. The condo was comfortable and well stocked but the bedrooms without AC get really hot and the loft windows need shades. The beds were comfortable and the living area was nice but there was a bad smell in the main bathroom that would not go away.
We had a great time. What a beautiful place to get away for a couple of days as a family. We needed a later checkout time and the host was super accomodating. There are lots of stairs, but that wasn't an issue for our group. It rained while were there and we were even treated to a beautiful rainbow!
It felt clean and inviting. It was a wonderful place to gather on the lake. Close to raspberry shakes! Open space to gather. Nice yard for playing! Highly recommend! A few minor repairs needed. Nothing big. We loved our vacation!!!! Thanks
Great place to stay in Garden City, right on Bear Lake.
Really great place to stay right on the water. Not for families that have anyone who has trouble with stairs. This place is all stairs, 3 floors. We had a group of adults and young adults and had a great time paddle boarding and spending time on the water. This unit is right in the center of 2 other units, so if anyone is on the deck in the other 2 units, you are in each others space, meaning you can hear their conversation and look right at each other, even though it is divided by railings. We enjoyed this nice home and beautiful spot on the lake. It's really close to all the eating spots, definitely within walking distance. Would stay here again for sure.
Family had a great time. In one room, heater was stuck on, property manager was easy to contact and had someone out to fix it within the hour. Great trip.
House is part of a triplex, this is the middle unit. no one else was occupying the other units. Plenty of parking. Great deck, BBQ in back, Traeger smoker in back works. The weather was cold so neither used. Truly lake-front. very clean. Comfortable furniture. No complaints at all.
The overall stay was excellent. The location cannot be beat for those staying at Bear Lake -- especially if you want to have direct access to the lake. There is plenty of plates, cups, and utensils but otherwise the kitchen supplies could use a bit of an upgrade -- plan on bringing your own pots/pans, serving dishes, etc. if you plan on cooking.
Our 3-year-old grandson enjoyed the big grassy area and playground equipment. The lake was very low, which exposed a great sand bar beach, that everyone enjoyed. The property manager, Matt, was great to work with. He answered all our questions before our arrival and responded quickly and thoroughly when there were problems between other tenants while we were there. He definitely deserves a 5-star+ rating. Go Matt :)
GREAT LOCATION BUT THE OWNERS COULD STAND TO PUT SOME EFFORT IN THE MAINTAINCE OF THE PROPERTY . SUCH AS , GET RID OF BAR-B-QS THAT HAVE BEES NEST IN THEM. BEACH COULD BE NICER WITHOUT ALL THE WEEDS AND HIGH GRASS . ASK THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT TEAM TO GET CLEANERS TO DO MORE DETAILED CLEANING. DECK FURNITURE CUSHIONS SHOULD BE BROUGHT INSIDE AFTER EACH RENTAL. I GIVE HIGH MARKS TO THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WHO RESPONDED TO OUR PHONE CALLS IN A TIMELY MANNER.

Rented the property for an extended family gathering. Chose this particular property because of the easy access to the water. Everyone loved being able to make many trips to the lake and spend time in the water. The house itself needs cleaning and repairs. When we arrived the house smelled of grease so we took time to clean the kitchen. We used many our own paper goods to insure we were eating off clean plates. After the first few hours in the house the bottom of everyone's feet were black from the floors. The top floor shower had a gob of hair in the soap niche (See attached picture). Note - we all have light colored hair. The main floor bathroom sink faucet leaked all over the counter top. (See attached picture). The care really taken of this house can be seen in the empty, dirty candy dish left on the kitchen counter. (See attached picture.). It is too bad this property is not maintained because the location is ideal for a family vacation.
We looked all over for a place to fit our needs. I am going to give the whole picture and provide the information that I wish was provided to me before I rented this property. Related to the cooling. There is no ac. There is a ceiling fan in the main gathering area. The ceiling fan in the 2nd floor bedroom ( main floor) would not turn on. My guess is it has a remote, which we could not find. There is a cooler mentioned upstairs but it is a small swamp cooler which you have to manually fill full of water for it to cool. Overall we were there last week of June. We felt like we did not need the cooling very much. If you opened the windows at night you could get the inside of the place about 66 or so and it only got warmer in the afternoon. If you like 72 ac this place will not work for you. But if you can handle it being say 76 or 77 in the later afternoon, then this will work. The downstairs has two bedrooms and a full bath. Beware the shower faucet downstairs has a slow leak. My guess it they will fix this. The floor on main level my guess had not been mopped for a while. My son walked with a bare feet and got quite dirty. We had to sweep when we got there as well. We found a couple of maintenance things we reported as we did not want to be blamed for any damage. Location was excellent and the layout main floor was the best of the other two units. I don't want to be too critical. We rented the same one for next year already. It has been the best at Bear lake we have found.

Mixed, honest feelings about this property
First off and big issue in summer, unit #2 has no air conditioning. It has overhead and floor fans throughout the unit which help move the air, but on the days we were there the temperatures were very warm and the unit became uncomfortably hot in the afternoons. The other 2 rental units on either side of this one have A/C, so I don't know why this one doesn't.
Otherwise, the property is nice. It comfortably (aside from the lack of A/C), accommodated the 10 family members who actually stayed there, as well as having room for our extended group of 10 more who were there for meals, games and family time.
The bedrooms were comfortable, as were the beds, although it would be nice to have appropriate furniture (chest of drawers) in all of them so you don't have to live out of your suitcase.
When we arrived, the freezer section of the refrigerator in the kitchen was dirty so we had to clean it out before we could use it. Also, the hanging lights over the kitchen sink and countertop were filthy with dirt, dust and hundreds of little flying-type dead bugs stuck to them. Both outside BBQ grills were filthy. I texted property manager Matt and he quickly responded by refunding a portion of the cleaning fee, which was appreciated.
Otherwise, the unit was clean. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and other kitchen, cooking and meal prep needs. There were plenty of towels and the bathrooms were small but adequate and clean.
The listing states and shows that there is a dock in the back that goes into the lake. There is a dock. It doesn't go into the lake. The pictures of the dock on the listing are misleading. The water level of the lake has gone down considerably due to the drought, so at this point the dock is useless. The dock is on wheels and so I'd think they could move it down the shore and into the water and thereby make it useful, but that's not the case.
The property description also lists having a kayak and paddle board available for guest use. Both items were there, but the kayak had a large hole in the bottom of it that someone tried to repair by taping it over, but we found that it quickly took on water so it was unusable.
It's the little things that make all the difference between having a great, or a so-so vacation property experience.
When you pay the kind of price you do for a "turn key" vacation spot like this, you expect it to be in tip-top shape, as advertised. Sadly, all things considered, this one was more so-so, as I've rated.
very large lawn area for children to play on, easy access to water, within walking distance of many Garden City attractions and grocery store, beds were a little hard for my back, otherwise well maintained condominium. I would highly recommend vacation this vacation rental to other family and friends.
I thought the location was excellent although the lake was low… Our family still had a great time. Everything was wonderful and the property manager was very responsive when we had a concern. Great stay.
