"Room was spotless and comfortable. Bathroom is excellent. Amenities good. Restaurant is unbelievably good, breakfast average."

"Poor heating in the room and toilet. outside temperature was at 0 deg celcius so heating definitely needs to improve. Fortunately hot water supply was good. Under the blanket was sufficiently was but blanket was very small considering the queen sized bed.blanket was smaller than the bed actually. Breakfast was pretty good, just the same dishes everyday. Location is good. "

"We hebben echt genoten. Heerlijke badkamer, bad en sauna waren heel fijn. De speelkamer was alleen erg koud, alleen een kleine heater om op te warmen. Gelukkig hoefde daarboven niemand te slapen. Er waren ook geen extra dekbedden aanwezig dus als je niet wil slapen met de kachel aan raden we aan deze extra mee te nemen. Bedden lagen wel heerlijk! Keuken was klein maar alles was aanwezig en zeer netjes. Geweldige buiten ruimte. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar en zeer netjes geregeld allemaal. Het huisje was zelfs versiert voor de kerst en was een kerstboom aanwezig! "

"We stayed here also a year ago and the hotel has definitely taken a turn for the worse. They have removed the front desk and replaced it with self check in iPads. Whoever thought of this should be fired immediately: a hotel relies on its personal touch and human interaction. I’m young and able, but no guest arriving after a long journey wants to fill out info on an iPad! Everything about our stay felt cheap. The hallway to our room was freezing. The duvets are so thin that we called (from our cell phone because there’s no phone in the room) for a second duvet, the floor in the bathroom is unheated and freezing, and I could go on. Our son with baby had a second room and they informed us in advance that they charge extra for a baby cot (unacceptable). There’s a coffee station in the lobby and it says with big letters that if you’re a guest staying in the hotel, you’re not allowed to use this coffee station (also unacceptable). It’s Christmas but not a festive chocolate in sight (I could swear there were chocolates last year at the front desk!). No welcome note or welcome gift in the room. Everything about our stay said that this hotel is past its prime and won’t survive. Our stay was just mediocre at best. One positive: the gin and tonic with berries in the bar is fabulous and the bartender was great (tip for the hotel: keep him). "

"We booked 2 nights. The rooms were newly constructed, but it smelled a lot of paint in all of the halls. The sound to the halls and rooms next door were pretty loud. Breakfast was expensive but pretty good. There were really good bikes for rent to use throughout the city. Location is really practical for the city as well."
