We were attending an interment and celebration of life nearby so the location was perfect.
We were met by the owner and there was a welcome wine/biscuits plus tea and coffee. There is a Nespresso Gusto machine too plus a few pods :). "This hotel is not 5 star in photos but the cleanliness, food, location and especially the staff are. Loved our stay. Will stay again! "
"We really enjoyed our stay at The Trout Cafe. Our room was really clean and comfortable, there was an electric fan which was appreciated as it was very warm weather. The shower was easy to use and very good. There were biscuits with the tea and coffee which was nice.
We had breakfast and the food was very good and included in the price of the room.
The hosts could not have been friendlier and gave us some great advice and local knowledge on places to visit. We would absolutely stay again on our next visit to Wales."
"A fantastic hotel in a stunning location. The rooms were modern with ye-oldie charm. The food was delicious.
The bar closed early and the road a bit noisy, but this was ok after my night nurse and vodka! Get the train to Aberystwyth if you really must go there.
