The Lion Hotel Shrewsbury
Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the room whilst cold was clean and tidy and it’s on a great location

Cromwell's Tap House
Fabulous four-poster room and excellent value. Bed was really comfy. Very weedy hairdryer and minimal toiletries, so bring your own. Incredible shower in which to use the minimal toiletries though! The man who showed me to the room was lovely. Would very happily stay again.

Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire
A nice room, well-presented. We appreciated the little touches e.g. Nespresso machine, a little dice game on the side.

Powis Castle and Garden
Powis Castle, owned by the National Trust, is located near Welshpool in the heart of the Welsh countryside. It was originally built as a medieval fortress around 1200, but the building as it stands today is a testament to the way in which it has been altered and remodelled from 1600 onwards. The interior is home to thousands of works of art, furnishings and ornaments collected over the course of 400 years.
Glansevern Hall Gardens
Explore the great outdoors at Glansevern Hall Gardens, a lovely green space in Berriew. Visit the lively bars or top-notch restaurants in this quaint area.
