Dating back to the 1600s, the house was originally called Ceint Bach and is most famous as the birthplace of the renowned Welsh poet, Robert Hughes from 1744 to 1785\. It was also the home of William Jones, MP for Arvon, from 1857 to 1915. When you’re done foraging wild elderflower and blackberries at Y Glyn, head out to explore Llangefni’s cultural attractions and the island’s coastlines, with both only a 10-minute drive away.
