We invite you to our secluded historic cabin 30 feet away from the Yellowstone River in the heart of Paradise Valley. Come and stay awhile, watch the river go by and listen to the sounds of the Yellowstone River's great birds moving over the river from the cabin deck. If you're quiet, you can hear the wind from their wings in flight just feet away from you. You may want to play a little game of horseshoes before grilling up a good dinner on the barbecue grill. Toss in your fishing line from the property's banks or launch a raft and sail away. Or you could just soak up the sights and sounds until your appetite gets you moving to dine at Chico or the many other nearby dining choices. The manicured mature trees and shrubs on the property provide an idyllic park-like setting. There is a fire pit and benches for a relaxing evening fire, long conversations and marshmallow roasting. Count on having an all-wheel drive vehicle for the driveway. It's a steep one! Guests must have an all-wheel drive vehicle. The driveway down to the cabin is very steep. Front wheel drive vehicles do not have enough power to make it up the driveway. Owners can assist guests with non all-wheel drive with options to access the cabin upon request. Do not attempt to drive down the driveway pulling an RV, or trailer unless approved by owner first. The cabin was comfortable and welcoming, in fact we extended our stay 2 days after we just didn't want to leave! Jackie and Ralph were incredible hosts, communication was always very quick and easy. The location is perfect, right on the river, and you can fish off the bank easily. There's also a public fishing spot a few properties down that gives more space if needed. Short distance to shopping in Bozeman, dining in Livingston, and grabbing coffee and pastries in Emigrant. Tons of wildlife in the surrounding areas, eagles, elk, deer and grizzlies. The river access from this cabin is incredible. You can fish from the bank right in front of the cabin and catch fish or you can walk the bank up and down the river. We used waders so we could fish in the water and go up and down the river that way as well. The cabin is in a great location in Paradise Valley with many other fishing access points within an easy drive. The cabin itself has everything you will need for your stay. The bedroom situation for two guys to stay there wasn't ideal but we made it work. The outside deck is awesome. We had mule deer in the yard everyday and could watch other wildlife as well. The owners are close by and are very easy to reach in case you need anything. Emigrant has a great BBQ restaurant, bakery, saloon and a convenience store that has a good selection. The fly shop there is great as well for all of your fly fishing needs. ##### Nathan H. It was our first time to Montana, and wanted to be right on the river, and were not disappointed. The location was perfect, halfway between Livingston and Yellowstone Park. And not far from Bozeman. The property is very private. The cabin is authentic, small, yet comfortable. (We were 2 adults and a dog.) The kitchen is a good size with everything you need, including a fairly large fridge. The bathroom is nice, although the shower is very small. And the outside deck is awesome. You can watch, and hear the river, from the deck, which is very soothing. Or sit right at the riverbank and enjoy it up close. We'd see bald eagles, and deer came through the property in the early morning and late evening. A couple of things to be aware of ... if you're coming in the summer, bring insect repellent ... and you'll need 4 Wheel Drive or a capable AWD vehicle to get down to the cabin. The gravel road is very steep. All in all, it's a great property, and one that we will want to come back to. ##### Ron G. Such an adorable cabin that made a journey to where it now sits so perfect on the river. Perfect distance from Livingston and the Yellowstone Park. Our trip was very adventurous starting with our first day being a day full of snow and then it tapering off to being an amazing 4 more days of gorgeous weather. My husband caught a brown trout and many white fish right off the banks by the cabin. We saw a variety of animals from Otters, Beavers, Bald eagles to your typical ducks, geese, hawks and many other types of birds. Ralph and Jackie were amazing. Ralph met us at the cabin to make sure that we could turn on the heat since it was a snowy day and talked with my husband to make sure that we were squared away. He also makes amazing wine!!! We didn't get to meet Jackie but she was in constant contact with us thru email and was kind enough to help us out when we accidentally locked ourselves out of the cabin when we headed out super early to Yellowstone Park. The cabin is perfect for two people so if you are just wanting a getaway with you and your loved one it is perfect. We will definitely be going back. The host welcomed us and gave us a quick tour, showing where everything is. Then, he left us alone. The cabin was very clean and easy to live in for the 4 days we were there. We couldn't ask for a more peaceful place to spend time, whether it was drinking morning coffee on the porch or by the riverside, watching the eagles and even a beaver, or spending evenings watching deer and again, the eagles. It was originally in Yellowstone. Ralph bought it an had it moved to the current location. It is located along the Yellowstone River. There was lots of trees, wildlife, shade, access to fishing and lots of rest, relaxation, and quietness. Made our adventure to Montanna even more enjoyable and authentic staying in the cabin. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet in this cottage by the river. The cottage has everything you need and is well equipped for travelers. Loved sitting in the chairs next to the river in the shade everyday. Several nice restaurants and fun music venues close by. Really pleased with visit to Yellowstone Hot Springs and rafting down the Yellowstone River. Fly fishing was great. Pine Creek never disappoints. Perfect time in Montana as always! ##### Ellen K.
