Second stay
This was our second stay we cannot fault anything you are given a code to open the main door then you will find your door key in a box.The hotel is so near everything so you never have far to walk.It was my husbands birthday and when we arrived we was greated with a birthday balloon it's the little things that make you feel welcome.The hotel was spotless and and had everything you needed

Had a lovely stay. Locked our key card in the room but the owners have it all covered. Sorted out straight away. Lovely comfortable bed,room was lovely. We would definitely be coming back .thankyou

Not your typical B&B - beautiful property ...
love the set up - used the lounge and kitchen. beautifully decorated and looked after. We had the kind room as a twin, not much room but didn't need it as used the lounge and kitchen. Ideal location just off main road - Lord Street and Prom. Quiet rooms all seem to be well sound proofed. Would stay again ...

Perfect self service guest house - Love it!
The Stamford is perfect in every way, I love it so much I want to live there! We've stayed in Room 5 twice now and it has the most comfortable bed, the best sleeps I've had in years. The location is spot on, the hotel facilities are great, and Becky is so helpful. We'll be back very soon :-)

Absolutely Fantastic!!!
The hotel is absolutely fantastic. The 3 bedroom apartment is perfect if you want to stay and share a private space but with individual bedrooms. The standard of the hotel is very very good, the cleanliness of the rooms is impeccable. Rick was a pleasure to deal with at the hotel and worked hard to accommodate us. I would definitely stay here and I would recommend it to anyone.

Perfect Stay
lovely staff, fabulous room. I have been going to Southport for many years this was head and shoulders above the rest. Lots of caring little touches. Super comfy bed.. Very classy room design. Even had a recycling bin.

Excellent stay.
The Stamford is a really great place to stay. Excellent location. Close to shops, restaurants and the sea front. Fabulous rooms, well decorated and clean. Nice, modern and fresh. Can highly recommend.

The location was great, right next to the main road and walking distance to the beach. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Checking in and out was very simple too.

Perfect location so close to the pier and lake and the shops, bars and restaurants. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and were made to feel very welcome by the manager and the owners who were all lovely people, felt like home. Had the superior king room which was lovely and spacious and very modern, Would definitely go back. Loved the self check in too

Lovely little place, very modern and very clean. It is very central. The place is fully self service but we didn’t really need anyone. I liked that there was a fridge to store food and drinks in. I took porridge sachets with me. There are only tiny teaspoons so bare that in mind. My only issue with this place was the parking, there are only 6 spaces and they are 3 x2 so you’ll block someone in or be blocked, that’s if you are lucky enough to get a space, we weren’t.

Super place for a stay in Southport
Excellent location in centre of Southport only a few yards from the main shopping street and the promenade En-suite bedroom was comfortable and in excellent condition as where the general areas. Our friends room was also excellent Downstairs there’s a guest Lounge and large kitchen where you can meet friend’s and prepare and consume simple food (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle) Looks like a great place for a larger family or friends getaway. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance On site parking though is limited to six cars.

One night in Southport
Stayed one Saturday night in the Stamford which was excellent. The bedoom and the whole place were just as the photos show it. The room was spotless and the bed really comfortable. Quiet road with on site parking in the heart of Southport. Definite recommendation for anyone visiting the area.

Lovely boutique feel
We had a slight problem with the booking system but the owner rang me directly and reassured me it was all sorted . Although we didn't use the kitchen or communal areas we did pop in for a look and they look clean and well equipped , the room was spotless apart from and this is no reflection on the cleanliness of the property it looks like a new TV bracelet had been fitted and whoever fitted it didn't clean up properly . We would definitely stay in the future . Don't know about the other room,s but our room had a lovely boutique feel about it .

A quick trip to Southport
Great concept. An open sitting room and kitchen for you to eat in should you wish. The place has just been refurbished and it shows as everything was clean and tidy. The location is very central for everything in Southport and we would certainly happily stay there again.
