Pets: Up to 2 house-trained dogs are allowed with reservation. $50 pet fee will be charged at the time of booking. A $100 fee will be charged if pets are not disclosed at the time of the stay. Dog park with a gazebo and seating area in the neighborhood. Dogs must be on a leash at all times except while exercising at the dog park. Please pick up after your pets and discard appropriately. A kennel is available inside for use at your discretion when you are away or for them to rest. Note that additional fees may be incurred for any damage/excessive cleaning from pets. Boat slip: Private boat slip available with boat lift. Inquire separately for pontoon rental. Weather: Please monitor the forecast before traveling. For all cancellations due to weather, we follow our published cancellation policy and do not offer weather-related refunds. Please consider purchasing trip insurance for added protection. Fires: No open fires are allow at any time. Propane fire pit available. Ensure propane is off when not in use. House rules: All guests have read and will abide by the below house rules. Smooth check in - Chris even noticed we arrived about 10 mins before check in and messaged us that he had activated the lock for us. Great space for families. Kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group. We also rented Chris’ pontoon boat and that process was also smooth and the boat well maintained. Upon arriving we immediately noticed how clean and fresh the property was and smelled! Every detail was attended to, down to kitchenware for children and dog bowls. We did not bring our pets with us but if we had all of their needs would have been met. We did travel with our 2 year old toddler and the property was easy for him to navigate without fear of hurting himself. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and well maintained. The property was easy to find and located close to a Grocery store and restaurants. We brought our boat and the owners were very helpful with giving information on where to drop the boat and the use of their well maintained slip. Pictures were accurate. The king size bed was very comfortable. Game room was great for the kids. Only bad thing I could say was the couch wasn’t comfortable and had a lingering dog smell. I knew the home accepted pets so it was not a huge problem for us. You can walk to the boat and the dock area of the lake. People at the lake and in the housing area were very friendly. Tips - the Development is called Eaton's Crossing (look for the etched rock, on the roadside entrance.) This street did not yet appear on our nav or on Google maps, so be aware you may experience some difficulty finding the enclave. Bear right BEFORE reaching the wrought iron gated community (those being single family homes). There is no street lighting (as in pitch black at night), so do try and arrive during daylight hours.Pack - laundry detergent, bug spray (lots of it), Windex, wipes (wood and kitchen surface ones), iron and a mini ironing board if you have special events to attend where you must press clothes. If you are NOT bringing or renting a boat, there is a foot bridge to the right of the covered dock slips which will allow you to cross to the other side of the inlet on foot (wear sneaks or hiking sandals) to enjoy dining at the newly opened One Eyed Jack's (P.S. don't order the Braised Short Rib Poutine, it was horrible, but other items were tasty.) Master bedding will lull you to sleep instantly, but beware the mattress is so soft you may wake up with a stiff back. Well appointed kitchen ready for the cook among you. Fabulous run of counter space awaits you in MB.Other suggestions were privately made to the owner to make the experience a ten for future guests. ##### Christine P.
