We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Chilworth Manor while visiting Stonehenge, Avebury Stones, and Salisbury Cathedral. The property was once a manor and has evolved into a comfortable, well-maintained hotel, with substantial grounds and walking trails. The trails could use better upkeep.
We had both breakfast and dinner at the hotel; the food and service were perfectly fine. Our only real drawback was that our third-floor room was accessible only by stairs, with no lift. An employee kindly helped us with our luggage, which we appreciated.
Overall, a pleasant stay with a lovely historic setting and convenient location for exploring the area.

"Room was clean and well-appointed. Good shower, Nespresso machine, nice towels, large TV. No air-con so had to have windows open which, given it was on the ground floor, represented a security risk. Breakfast was slow, bacon dry, leathery and overcooked, and the coffee failed to come. Needed to remind ..."
