Property in need of an uplift.Pool needs a good clean ,pool sunloungers many brocken,cushions need replacing,regular sweeping around the pool,.Top of steps leading to pool concrete loose and dangerous. General painting outside.After a day out,returned to room 327 ,room had not been touched,the Manager Vickey made the bed,changed the towels and refilled tea and coffee,well done her.

Room was clean when we arrived but house keepers could do better I don't think people stay for nine days at a time think more short term stays no shops near hotel . Food ok plenty there .staff pleasant enough. If we were short of any thing in our room we did receive straight away more for business people short stays .my opinion ?

I love this Hotel, Its a beautiful building, so steeped in history, it should be a wonderful stay, but I am getting more and more disappointed every time I stay.

"Leisure centre good, staff very helpful and great text service. Table in room was sticky on arrival amd room was dusty. But service throughout excellent. Slightly date but massive and great tariff. Would def recommned- only small downside is one shared bathroom."
