The community was clean and cute and very convenient to N. Myrtle Beach and highways. Communication was great with host and home was clean, well-maintained and quiet. Had everything we needed for a great 5 day stay and we will definitely be back if able in the future. Our family of 6 was very comfortable and had zero complaints. The house was really clean and comfortable. We came with our kids and it was nice to have space for everyone. Everything felt nice and there were several thoughtful touches (stool in the bathroom for young kids to reach the sink, beach towels, extra charging cords, etc. ) The location was great - quiet neighborhood but still close to shopping. We had to wipe everything down including the bathrooms ourselves and literally 30 minutes after bathing our young one his socks were almost completely black on the bottom(these being brand new white socks we picked up the day before)! The next day we even went and bought our own steam mop to attempt to clean the floors but after 4 passes the mop was still pulling up a ton of dirt. We were suppose to stay for a total of 6 days but only ended up staying 3 at this property after securing another rental as no one was comfortable with the cleanliness of the home (we were just eager to get to a cleaner rental at that point) Also the photos do not show that the back porch was covered in dead bugs and spiders, the bathroom shower handles had mold on the inside of them, and the stairs/rugs had stains seeming to not have been properly deep cleaned. Highly disappointed as I don’t like to leave bad reviews but I felt it only fair since the property manager decided to review my family as a guest even though we made it clear we didn’t want a refund we just wanted to leave. If I could attach photos I absolutely would.
