"Great location. Great food and helpful staff, the sushi place was outstanding! Free parking right out front was a nice bonus as we had a rental to go exploring. Ocean Encounters dive shop is on site if you are a diver. The resort has everything you need if you want to stay in one place and relax. It could be a little noisy at times, we go to bed eatly, earplugs worked well! It's a beautiful resort."

"The rooms were clean, as was the entire compound. Check in was smooth and the co owners communicated with us prior to arrival, upon landing and created a watsapp chat if we needed anything throughout the stay. The brought us some welcome snacks and wine, which was very much appreciated. Location is very conveniently located next to Mambo beach, a 5 minute walk, you can come and go hassle free. There is also the Hemingway hotel right mext door where you can walk over to get snacks or all you can eat breakfast for 23$usd. At night they offer drinks , music and dancing along the water. The private beach was calm and beautiful. Overall 10/10 experience."

The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

"I chose the Royal Sea Aquarium Resort for a solo birthday trip, and overall I had a good experience. The location was convenient, and I appreciated the shuttle service, which offered rides to downtown Willemstad, the Curaçao sign, the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery, grocery stores, and evening trips into town. This was especially helpful since I did not rent a car. The staff was friendly and responsive throughout my stay. However, I was disappointed with the cleanliness of my room upon arrival. The shower curtain was dirty and needed to be replaced, and the condition of the bedding made me question whether the sheets had been changed before check-in. My concerns were addressed when I brought them to the staff's attention, but I believe housekeeping standards and room inspections could be improved. One of the highlights of my trip was Olas y Copas, the restaurant next to the resort. The food was excellent, the breakfast was very good, and Diego and his team were phenomenal. Everyone was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. I also enjoyed visiting the Sea Aquarium. The interactive exhibits were fun and allowed visitors to get up close to the animals. One tip: if you participate in feeding the sharks, keep an eye on the birds. They are surprisingly aggressive and may take the food right out of your hand. I learned that the hard way! Overall, I enjoyed my birthday trip and appreciated the location, shuttle service, nearby attractions, and dining options."
