Little Cobbossee Lake

I met three staff members here. They could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Seriously...the most friendly staff I have encountered in all of my travel days.

Our stay was PERFECT!! From checkin with the manager( he’s amazing!!) this spur of the moment overnight in Boothbay Harbor was wonderful. Our room (#14) had spectacular views of the harbor. Breakfast was sooooooo good. Complementary cocktails was yummy: sitting outside in the comfy polywood chairs. Played cornhole, ate dinner at the Thistle Inn and a pre dinner cocktail at Neat. We have stayed in Boothbay Harbor numerous times but our first at the Topside. It is now our #1 spot!!

Beautiful view! Our room was clean, but a lot of stairs for my mother to walk up with a suitcase. We didn't have any coffee or tea in our room and needed to ask for that. We also didn't have any complementary water. You have to bring everything you need. They had a hot water tea kettle in our room - that's it. The restaurant is very expensive! They also ran out of the beer we like to drink after we had 1 each? We made coffee at the free coffee station one morning and the milk was sour and we had to wait for new milk. For the money we felt like they should do a little more for their customers. The gift shop has no food or water sold in it. It was very beautiful, but just a little lacking in some ways.
