"Enjoyed our early fall stay. We we finishing up a visit to the western UP, and was tired of the overpriced 1star hotels. I figured I could do any worse. I think we we were the only guest for a Thursday night, end of Sept. our room was clean a functional. Note the shower pressure could clean the side of a house lol. For breakfast since we were the only ones was made to order vs the cellophane wrapped muffins you get at an AmericInn. The Chef gave us the location of a nearby falls to visit. A nice end to our trip."

"Our host was super responsive on the few times we contacted her. Most of the house was clean except for the upstairs shower stall - mold issues. Would have had problems with the BBQ if my Mr Fix it wasn't there and made it usable. BBQ needs replacing..Kitchen eas well enough stocked for cooking. The setting with the lake and river was fantastic!"

"Clean room, large room, toilet was finally the right hight for a taller person. Friendly staff, and it looks like they are doing upgrades to the rooms one at a time, the one I saw was looking really rustic with pine walls and log type bed."

"It was clean and neat. The kitchen was well stocked with nice dishes and new appliances. Everything worked really well. The beds were comfortable. We would definitely stay here again. We thought the whole home was decorated beautifully."
