"This inn is right on the Cabot Trail. We stayed in one of the cottages off the main building. It was a spacious kitchenette and well equipped with everything we needed. The shower was a modern handheld model. There was a TV on the property, and we were able to watch our favourite shows on Netflix and Prime (together with many of Prime’s associated channels, including Crave!!). There was a very unique restaurant on the premises that served a nine-course tasting menu. It was a wonderful experience and, I’m sure, a labour of love for the chef. Dinner that night was lots of fun. My husband and I highly recommend this place if you are ever on the Cabot Trail."

"Great place to stay! We arrived early and used the heated pool until check-in. The chalet had a great view and all the amenities we needed, even though some of it is a bit dated. The service was great and the on site restaurant is handy. "

"I've stayed at the Fair Isle at least once a year over the last 3 years and always had a good experience. The rooms are clean and comfortable and have a view of Bras D'Or lake. This time I had a small kitchenette."

"We stayed only for a short overnight rest after hiking in the Cape Bretton, but the cleanliness of the room and newly renovated bathroom was impressed. There are a couple of quite sandy beaches close by to swim and watch the sunset and wake up to watch the sunrise and beautiful mountain and river next morning from the room window. "
